Time to give Klopp a call.

He can steady the ship till the end of the season to see where we are and then go from there. After that we can see if Simeone or Guardiola are interested.

Do you not think mourinho has earned the time to sort this mess out.

I don't think there's anyway back from this. He's lost the dressing room as you can clearly see the players are not playing for him not anymore.

If we balls up the Champions League then and only then José might be in trouble.

As for now, we've been pretty atrocious but it's far too early to be making this sort of call.

Fact is he doesn't sort anything at the moment. He is always fielding the same team. We always face the same problems. Yet in the next game he is fielding the same team again.

Don't want to have that for the next game. I demand drastical changes, but can't see Jose doing it.

Bring on Klopp!

The title of the thread..........Oh God....really. We are 5 games in.

This thread brought to you by Darogba. Creator of other quality topics like "I think he's lost the dressing room" and "Can we keep Hazard?".

He is the man for the job, no doubt.

His post match Interview worries me. If he seriously believes we are unlucky, and that performance is not the issue then he is deluded. I really hope he isnt telling the players the same message.

For example?

I wouldn't have had a problem with him losing 5 out of 5 if he had fielded two young players in every game. What kind of improvment is he expecting by fielding the same team?

I mean those are not any unexperienced players who need time to adjust. If they don't click right now he has to do something. He had to do something after the third game at the latest.

He is the man for the job, no doubt.

Thing is, if he spelled out how rubbish the players have been in public then he'd be criticised for not keeping that stuff private. Whatever any manager says in post-match interviews needs to be taken in isolation from reality.

Historically, switching managers usually doesn't work for longer than a handful of matches.

I am worried however, about Mourinho's decisions. Players may be out of form, or may overestimate themselves, underestimate opponents, whatever. Making wholesale changes is risky, but playing the same players, who are clearly not doing well, hasn't been working very well either. Mourinho needs to find a compromise between stubbornly fielding the same players and benching 3 or 4 players at once (bearing in mind that we have lost our no 1 keeper for some time already). We probably don't even have 3 or 4 outfield players ready to step up. One obvious change is being ignored by the manager: Baba for Ivanovic and some shuffling of the back four. Baba wasn't even on the bench today, was he injured? Pedro got thrown in right away, Baba is nowhere in sight. Odd.

Doing nothing and carrying on as if everything will right itself, is asking for an unfavourable response by Abramovich, I'm afraid, whether that will work or not (and I think the latter). Mourinho has to make changes, assuming he wants to keep his job.
