How come am the only one who believe we are going to win this?

Seems most people dont see improvements in our last match against West Ham. If not for the officiating and that goal Ramires should have scored or atleast hit it on target we would have won even with ten men!

So should he put out his "strongest" team tonight and hope for the win, or play the kids?

 

He said he would play the kids if we were out of the running for trophies, but this is the perfect opportunity to give a good few of them a game and see how they do. Even if we won the Carling cup, it's not going to save his job if we continue this badly in the league, so might as well give them a chance.

I think he'll stick more to the normal senior squad players. After all, it's they who need to play themselves out of this current mess.

 

Aina definitely won't feature as he played 90 minutes for the U21's last night in their 2 nil loss to Man City. Maybe one of RLC or Kenedy might get some time on the field but I'd be quite surprised if either of them manage 90 minutes.

 

Tight one to call tonight, but I'm thinking a 1-1 and a win after a penalty shootout.

Put out the youth. Rest the main 11.

No it's not.  The club will still be here, even if we get relegated.  A huge number of our fans won't be, but the club will.

 

If the team for this game isnt changed Im going to have a hard time thinking of a reason to support Jose anymore regardless of the result.

Forget going for cups, we just need to focus on working on a top 4 finish, the FA and Capital One mean nothing if we can't get into Champions League. I say throw the cup games and start to try and get some League form back...I'm actually crapping myself about the Liverpool game!

We need to win this game, but Kenedy should play, I'd like to see Traore come on in the second half, this is if both of them haven't got lost somewhere in London, I've heard nothing of either of them for ages, have they even been on the bench? Anyway, I'm expecting a full strength team.

Stoke r gonna be well up for this they can smell blood already not to bothered if we lose this (getting used to it now :( ....hope he plays a good few youngsters 2nite and most importantly they put in a shift play well and give me something to smile about...because by christ i need it... KTBFFH!!!

Begovic  -  Always wonder how the pros deal with these games.  Haven't heard much of him in the way of press this year, I've enjoyed his professional manor and I think he'll have a great game.

Diego - I think he'll score, not sure about whether he starts?  

Falcao - I always think players get written about being failures at clubs.. but really were they ever given a chance?  Must be hard to come on for 10 or start the cup games and be instantly a threat.  Can see Falcao ending his career at Chelsea with similar headlines but I suppose deep down i wish he was the player used to be.  If he could show a glimpse and get goal scoring it would relieve so much pressure on everyone (not that that is his fault).  Hope he starts, hope he plays well.
