November 27, 201510 yr Just one worry for me. They are miserly with their defence. Second best defence after united, they won't let up much chances and if we let them, they will drub us.
November 27, 201510 yr New sponsor announced today.. Does this mean Terry is fit for Tottenham.? I watched the suits at Chelsea talking about this yesterday and pretending to drink it, all seemed so forced and awkward.
November 27, 201510 yr We'll be lucky to get away with only losing 2-0. Before anyone decides to shout me down for being a realist, please read the thread as many others expect us to lose. Tottenham 4-0 Chelsea (Kane hat-trick, Son)
November 27, 201510 yr ^^^^^^^ Yet another painfully woeful post from SS. His season really is going from bad to worse.
November 27, 201510 yr We've got a 2 day advantage over Tottenham who historically don't perform well after a Thursday night outing Walker & Rose are overrated & I can see Hazard and Willian ripping them apart- We will need to keep it tight in the first half and not allow them to dictate tempo. I can see a scrappy 1-0 win with a late second half goal.
November 27, 201510 yr It's going to be a comfortable 3-0 win to us. Mark my words. Splishsplosh, care to bet against me? Loser donates to the forum. What do you say?

I've been terrible this season with my bets so I'm going with you on this one Amp...any returns half go's to the forum as usual. Chelsea 3-0 @ 28/1 Stake : £5.00 Estimated Returns : £145.00

November 27, 201510 yr This will be a tough nut to crack but if we win this & win with a good solid Chelsea performance then were definitly on our way up...KTBFFH!!!!
November 27, 201510 yr We've got a 2 day advantage over Tottenham who historically don't perform well after a Thursday night outing Last season they didn't fare well but this season they've been fine: 2 wins and 2 draws following Thursday games (one of the draws was away to Arsenal).
November 27, 201510 yr ^^^^^^^ Yet another painfully woeful post from SS. His season really is going from bad to worse. Why aren't you calling out everyone else who said Chelsea are going to lose? Oh right, agenda and myopia and all that.
November 27, 201510 yr Last season they didn't fare well but this season they've been fine: 2 wins and 2 draws following Thursday games (one of the draws was away to Arsenal). Yep, I was hoping the 5,000 mile round trip would be a factor and it might well be as playing Sunday lunchtime will be far from ideal for them. I think Pochettino is a very shrewd coach and i am impressed with him and I think he rested both full-backs last night which makes perfect sense as the one area we could get at them is Hazard & Willian attacking tired legs. Still hoping the form book goes out the window and we make it 3 point lane again. We need BIG performances from everyone - especially the key players like Hazard, Matic, Costa and the defence. COME ON THE CHELS!!! Edited November 27, 201510 yr by Nibs
November 27, 201510 yr Why aren't you calling out everyone else who said Chelsea are going to lose? Oh right, agenda and myopia and all that. You appear to be the only one with an agenda. To wind everyone up. Many of us are pessimistic about this one but you are the only one who actually appears to take delight in predicting a 4-0 drubbing. No proper fan would EVER predict such a loss, especially against one of our biggest and most hated rivals. Still, I'm sure the Sp*rs Forum will welcome you with open arms.
November 27, 201510 yr Alright, here's Jose's presser for this game. JT and Ramires remain doubtful for this game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t53zAhZnKRg This'll be a tough game. Spurs are playing well recently and our players must work even harder than what we've seen in our last 2 games to get something out of this. Can we do do it? Yes, I believe we can. Let's beat them and make it 3 wins out of 3 games! Onwards and upwards lads. Edited November 27, 201510 yr by Zinc

Pray tell where I've displayed delight in me predicting a 4-0 loss? You're making it up, because you have an agenda. 'Proper fan', chortle. Next you'll be saying how you've been on the terraces for the last thousand years and you're the most diehard fan that's ever lived. Predicting a loss doesn't mean anything else except I think Chelsea will lose. Why does loyalty even come into the equation? Historically Spurs have always been a rival to us, but apart from geographic locality they haven't challenged us in years for anything. The only rival from this part of town is Arsenal. I don't need to wish implosion upon them however, as they're perfect at doing that themselves every season.
November 27, 201510 yr Why aren't you calling out everyone else who said Chelsea are going to lose? Oh right, agenda and myopia and all that. Come on SS, what are you worried about? You're so sure we're losing this one. Let's make it interesting
November 27, 201510 yr Can't be too confident about this unfortunately. I have seen nothing from us (including the last two good results for us) to suggest we will win this, let alone comfortably. We still look leaky at the back and if jose decides to put ivan in at rb instead of azpi, we will get torn to shreds again. Let us hope we put out a good line up and put in a top performance...
November 27, 201510 yr Ramires is a must for this one, if fit. I'd go with: Bego Iva Zouma JT/Gary Azpi Ramires Matic Willian Hazard Pedro Costa Ultra counter attacking team. Iva over Baba for his experience without JT. Edited November 27, 201510 yr by jk88
November 27, 201510 yr We can win this game if we will control the game and we will show this from the beginning of the first half. We're coming after two wins, players have the motivation to win and their morale is only raising. I think we must play Azpi and Baba on as our defenders because they both offers us good attacking football, but for that we need Ramires and Matic to cover them always. For example Baba is running forward, then immediately Matic takes his position and holds the left side. Simple football will give us the victory, and I trust in Jose and I hope he won't disappoint us. COME ON CHELS!
November 27, 201510 yr Surprised Spurs put out such a strong side. That should work in our favour. Hopefully they will tire out 60 minute onwards. Edited November 27, 201510 yr by JM7
November 27, 201510 yr Mrs Remy is about to give birth so he might be withdrawn from the squad - Traore?! Could be his moment.....
