December 5, 201510 yr Jose, please come to your senses and bring Costa on, this false 9 experiment is surely over, plus get Cesc off, he's useless. Edited December 5, 201510 yr by Floyd25
December 5, 201510 yr Really disappointed with the line up the way we played. It's ridiculous to play with No striker at home, plenty of possession but counted for nothing. Time to bring a striker on, whoever that is.
December 5, 201510 yr Well this playing without a striker lark isn't making us look more like scoring. Courtois has kept us in it.
December 5, 201510 yr Spot the difference: Hazard, willian, oscar, fabregas, matic, pedro, costa Kalou, malouda, anelka, lampard, ballack, essien, drogba One set was full of goals, every player could score from open play from anywhere and in anyway i.e. long shots, headers etc. The other set, the one playing now reminds me of the arsenal of few years ago, weak and no ability to actually score! How I would love to see even a Kalou on the pitch right now to grab a goal This isnt about form rubbish, we have no natural goal scorers. Schurlle was one, we got rid of him.
December 5, 201510 yr Very poor first half from us, Mourinho going with Hazard upfront was a really stupid move. We have put 3 good crosses into the area, but because we don't have a striker, nobody is there to put it into the net. Matic and Fabregas are playing the deeper midfield role horribly once again. Both have them have left huge gaps which has given Bournemouth so many chances. We need to bring Remy or Costa on, take Oscar off, put Hazard behind the striker and maybe bring Loftus-Cheek on for Fabregas. Something needs to change because if we carry on like this then we won't win.
December 5, 201510 yr Oscar looks so lost up front, he doesn't move like a striker, he's so stagnant that he's seeing very little of the ball and is a waste of a man. So frustrating, at least Remy and Costa know their roles as strikers and would execute a better job than Oscar. Not having a go at the lad, but he's clearly lost up top, and doesn't look comfortable at all. With his lack of bite when Bournemouth attack, coupled with his dodgy tan, it looks like Fabregas is trying to engineer a move up to Liverpool, because he'd look the part up there.
December 5, 201510 yr Tap, tap. Tap. Waste. Oscar is a waste of space. Pedro very busy doing not much. Midfield is non existent, as is defence - come to think of it, so is the strike. Awful. Home against Bournemouth and the manager starts without a striker Edited December 5, 201510 yr by GhostOfDembaPast
December 5, 201510 yr Too much negativity here. The cherries are playing with intent, and we're in a dogfight! Problems for sure, but not a shambles! There will be NO easy matches this season. We will have to fight for every point.
December 5, 201510 yr Respect to Bournemouth, they've been our equal. This could be the moment - if we don't get a result - that a top four position becomes a pipe dream.
December 5, 201510 yr take oscar and fabreass off and bring on rlc and traore. we need to inject some energy and decisiveness into this game.
December 5, 201510 yr We are attacking like Arsenal, trying to walk the ball into the net. [emoji16] It's actually worse than Arsenal, at least it worked for them at times, it never works for us. Edited December 5, 201510 yr by Scott Harris
December 5, 201510 yr Bournemouth are a decent side and we are in recovery a long slow recovery, we can not buy a goal at the moment tippy tappy football around the box which then breaks down and we are immediately under pressure and look shaky,,,,,it's crying out for a decent midfielder and Fabrigas isn't it, teams flood through the middle of the park past our static players and we expect our defence to sort it out. I am still optimistic we will win the 2nd half and also do better in the 2nd half of the season, lets face it if we were any good we would have pissed the Prem this season, no one seems to want to win it even with us out of the equation they all look poor, Leicester being top says it all.
December 5, 201510 yr We got better in the last 10 mins or so but christ our passing and link up play in the final third is embrassing when you look at the players we have out there. It feels like we don't pratice it at all, just defend, counter and hope for the best when we get forward. Still, we did one or two fairly clear cut chances. Hazard where he hesistaed when a proper striker would have hit it first time or taken a touch and then hit it, the cutback to Oscar, although that was was slightly harder as he had a defender in front of him. Pedro had a good chance too.
December 5, 201510 yr I wanted to see Baba's crosses so much, but he doesn't have a target, it's so hard without a striker. We must play Remy or Costa, also I'd like to see Loftus-Cheek, I got a feeling he will add something fresh to the game, he's motivated to prove himself and it's surely time for him. COME ON CHELS, WAKE UP!!!!
December 5, 201510 yr Too much negativity here. The cherries are playing with intent, and we're in a dogfight! Problems for sure, but not a shambles! There will be NO easy matches this season. We will have to fight for every point. That isn't a good enough excuse for me. We are home and have the players, we really shouldn't be struggling this much no matter how well they play.
December 5, 201510 yr Absolutely disgusting performance. Negativity is well justified. Team is absolutely shocking. So is the manager. Roman has every right to be furious if he's watching.
December 5, 201510 yr Too much negativity here. The cherries are playing with intent, and we're in a dogfight! Problems for sure, but not a shambles! There will be NO easy matches this season. We will have to fight for every point. This is what should be said if you're a team like Spurs, we're the champions and getting pretty much outplayed by a relegation favourite. It's not the worst we've been all season but we don't look a threat at all.
