January 31, 201610 yr Coming from a player who has played with a lot of the greatest players produced in the last twenty years, that's high praise.
January 31, 201610 yr Cahill looks miserable, eh? Those rumours must be true... Where's cahill? Lol pretty sure that's miazga behind pato.
January 31, 201610 yr Dunno about anyone else but these two signings have me excited. Low risk deals but potentially could be extremely shrewd signings. I am excited and these are not even "big" signings. Have a good feeling people.

January 31, 201610 yr Welcome to Pato, I hope we see him start a match and play well ! I am sure the people that work in the Chelsea recruiting department know what they are doing ! Lol Good Luck
January 31, 201610 yr God I hope we're doing the right thing, Ramires and Remy may not have been in top form, but at least they are available to play at this moment in time. So far we have brought in two players with virtually no chance of playing in the immediate future, just as we head into a very critical part of the season.
January 31, 201610 yr Interestingly he's on £30k pw which by Premier League standards is pretty average. He could have doubled that with the offer he had from China, so I feel like he is here for all the right reasons. At 26 if his body can take the strain he could be an interesting loan...
January 31, 201610 yr As others have said he looks very happy! Turning down big money in China to come to Chelsea for a lower wage in an attempt to get back to the level he was previously at Milan is a positive sign too. Hopefully he can stay injury free and get his fitness back and he can become a starter in our side. Edited January 31, 201610 yr by AlwaysRight
January 31, 201610 yr I agree with the contribution of our midfield last season but why single out Costa. He doesn't have a history of being prolific in front of goal, we knew that when we signed him. He shouldn't be our main striker maybe I was a bit harsh the way I put it I mean he should probably e at another club he's too good or a second choice for us but I just don't think he's good enough all round. February 2, 201610 yr one thing i like about Pato is how much he reminds me of Lampard with the way he shoots! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FJQpbX-rC8&feature=youtu.be
February 2, 201610 yr Here's what Alexandre Pato said after signing for the Blues on loan... http://che.lc/YarZJ1
February 2, 201610 yr Interesting Pato went with number 11 Not much to live up to there then. Edited February 2, 201610 yr by Beerqueen
February 5, 201610 yr Don't all laugh... ‘Pato is in his preseason’ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3433579/Chelsea-loan-striker-Alexandre-Pato-special-pre-season-training-plan-Guus-Hiddink-admits-not-ready-play.html

He probably won't be ready until late Match / early April and even then we won't know if he will offer us anything.
February 5, 201610 yr Probably not fit enough to start games but I don't see why he won't be able to come off the bench for the last twenty minutes or so. Better a striker lacking match fitness than injured ones.
February 5, 201610 yr he's doing double sessions so if he continues them and keeps intensity relatively high i don't see why he couldn't play in our next fixture. by then remy will probably be fit though.

The easiest way to get an injured player is to play one that is unfit. Don't expect to see him before the end of Feb at the earliest. Edited February 5, 201610 yr by charierre
February 6, 201610 yr At this point we've played half the season without him, we might as well wait to see him at full fitness Edited February 6, 201610 yr by Lloyd Jr.
