Miazga started for The Yanks vs France today - from the bits of the match that I saw, Matt did well put Giroud into knots - unfortunately the two clashed heads - it was an ugly mess

 

Sucks that both got injured. Hope Giroud still gets to play in the WC.

I just read that Miazga needed 15 stitches but he didn't have a concussion - any news about Giroud?

No news as of yet. Probably the French team are running some tests or something.

Matt Miazga is about to go on loan to either Caen or Nantes. I guess Miazga impressed the French enough when The Yanks played France to a draw before The World Cup. More to come later on this story.

I'd sell him. Why we keep loaning him and Omerou and Kalas is baffling.
