would love it to be Hoffenheim, who qualified for the UCL this season. However I am thinking Eintracht Frankfurt or Werder Bremen would be a better destination. Mid-table sides looking for more glory.

Frankfurt lost both their CBs didn't they? Could be a good opportunity 

Prem loan hopefully it increases his value, and then sell him.

one of those players is a CFC player (Michael Hector) - just checked Eintracht's roster - apparently the club isn't waiting & is making moves to find replacements

Matt can't even get into the US National team and we desperately need defenders. It seems he's fallen off everyone's radar.

I don't think he'll get a new contract, he'll probably be sold at the end of the season to a random team.

Poor fella, bought during the wrong season.

I would say thats the only area that we dont need players or have decent cover.

He's been playing well at Vitesse by all accounts, still young for a CB, I imagine a championship loan next season

Where did Hector end up and dare I ask what happened to the African CB with the difficult to spell name who we mugged Sunderland for and the poster who came on here reckoned he was one of the best CB's in the World?!!

Thankfully we are a lot better equipped in the CB department now.

 

He's been pretty regular with the Vitesse team, if you follow Chelsea Youth on twitter i'm pretty sure htey keep close tabs on their line-ups

I don't know that he'll come back especially if we continue to play a back 3.  I think Rudiger, Christensen, Cesar, Luiz, and Cahill are all better. So, with that said would he really want to be 6th for 3 spots?

Djilobodji was such a huge success at Sunderland, they immediately shipped him out last summer. Had to check Wikipedia for which club: Dijon. I noticed he's already 28, I thought he was much younger. No idea when he was at his peak, not in Britain apparently

Michael Hector is on loan at Hull.

Remember him playing like one half of footy somewhere and making one mistake and getting hooked for it.

The season where Branna was peak Branna and Oscar/Haz/Costa/Fab were top of the line turd every game.

He wasn't really bought to play for us though, just another loan and then hopefully sell for profit type signing.

I'd say he was bought purely for commercial links in the USA. Was never going to make it with us.

Made a defensive header out of the box that fell for who ever we were playing and they scored, not like it couldn't have happened to anyone in the back. I doubt he'll get another look from Chelsea now.

Wish we do that with pulisic! 

Played the full 90 in a friendly against Portugal, 1-1, today. I didn’t watch much of the match but played well.
