During the slow start it was Pedro and Cesc that were taking the game to them and carrying the team, I give it to Pedro on merit of his improvement

Fabregas was great. Although il go with hazard who assisted the 1st 2 goals, had a big hand in the 3rd and scored the 4th.

Hard choice to make between Fabregas and Pedro as both were excellent.

 

I guess I'd go with Fabregas as he stayed on and maintained his performance for the whole 90 min.

 

Overall, I think the team did well today. Glad to see Hazard and Traore score too.

Fabregas was superb.

Pedro for me. Looked like a new signing. Cesc was awesome too.

Fabregas controlled the game great performance, Pedro has been excellent recently.

Hazard for me, it's been a long time since he was directly involved in three goals (1 goal, 2 assists).

Fabregas easily today. Yes City gave him space but he was like a conductor in the middle of the pitch, pulling all the strings. What I love about him at his best is that he puts his teammates into the best possible position, whether they know it is or not. I've not been fond of the idea of him being captain but he's clearly one of the few players capable of taking responsibility for that team.

 

It also made me even more excited about the idea of Conte coming in and making him our Pirlo. It might be a long-shot but if we can put the right players around him to build a stable stage, then he can be our most important player and reach new heights. 

Fabregas again "he's bringing Cescy back....yeahhhh", best ball player in europe on his day, so influential when he pays that bit more fwd..

Fabregas, when he's on his game like he was today he's one of the best play makers I've seen for Chelsea.

He has the ability to completely dictate the flow of a game and his passing ability is unrivaled in our team.

He doesn't kick a ball, he caresses it.

Fabregas was class today.

 

Some of the players, and the team as a whole, are completely unrecognisable compared to the shambles that we were a few months ago.

Fabregas and Pedro are close calls but I go for Cahill, not to be different but for the challenges he put in, getting knocked about all over the place and carrying on, and a goal to put the icing on the cake!

Cesc for me. He is wonderful to watch when on song and with so much space.
