Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST

Featured Replies

Can't really argue the result. It was a very even game.

But today I learnt that we were not playing Stoke, but rather one man, Imbula. The commentators let me know that conclusively.

If Remy had not come on then we might have kept enough pressure to hold our lead. This game was brought to a draw due to the substitutions.

Just like those 2 draws earlier  during gus , we lost another 2 points today and at home.. should have got penalty though. Clattenburg is an Asshole.

1-1, that result was fair, but once again we lost control of the second half. We should have had a pen and Pieters should have been sent off, you can't rely on Clattenburg to get anything right though.

Courtois made 1 or 2 good saves but he once again f**ked up for their goal. He's in really poor form right now.

Sad we couldn't keep hold of that lead. I knew they would score.

Some dodgy referring calls but over all. I think we should have don't better with not conceding, William lost the ball and I just knew we would regret that.

Have to disagree, I think our youngsters look way out of their depth whenever they play.

To be honest its been a decent experience for the young guns and they all have done well.

They are clearly good enough to compete at this level.

That didn't go as I thought it might. Had we had the deserved penalty... But we've suffered that before.

Tibo, not the first time.

Clattenburg!

Traore, what an absolute treasure.

Could have been worse, longing to see JT back at the helm.

The fair result in the end, they should have won easily with a better striker. It's obvious this game was just a distraction for the team heading into a huge cup week. We never had control in the midfield. Odd subs for Hiddink again ( as usual), as much as I like to see RLC playing, not sure taking out Hazard at the time was the right move, we just never able to retain possession after that. The goal was a result of Willian being too ambitious, slow defence to react, and a poor parry by Tibo. Anyway, apart from that mistake, he kept us in the game, so let's not do the Cech comparison again here.

Fair result. Stoke should have been in front not behind at half time, second half was pretty even.

Was a really good game to watch I thought.

Disappointing to throw away the 2 points at the end but Stoke deserved a draw imo.

Positives were bertys cracking goal and some minutes for Ruben.

Not sure what guus was thinking with the last sub. Going attacking when 1-0 up.

Well done gus another win turned into a draw. Truly stunning subs

Take some time on the training pitch to teach remy the offide rule you twat

I don't think Hiddink should be blamed. If we don't make the mistakes, we win the game.

Stoke played much better today, we barely deserve a draw, very poor second half, We could have been on the 7th now dropped on the 10th

Courtois better than Cech and a world class goalkeeper? Hmmm

Fair result in the end, we weren't very good. Hiddink needs to start delegating sub duty because his decisions are awful. Also, what do you expect when your midfield is Mikel and Matic? They have as much creativity as a ham sandwich.

Gus took Hazard and Traore off, we lost all our speed in the attack. Willian tried to go forward but didn't have assistance.

I don't know why RLC gets bad comments, I think he wasn't bad, he actually held the ball and played a passing game, he had control. At that chance, when he decided to shoot he had no option, a defender was close to Willian/Remy and if he was passing that ball, then he was losing the ball.

I think our worst player was Oscar, I'm not surprised. He shows nothing special that gives him a place in the starting lineup.

Poor second half, we allowed them to score, that's all. I think Guss has a part of it, he shouldn't get Traore off, we needed some speed in the counter attack. 1-0 is not enough, he had to know that.

Our two main problems is loosing the ball so easily in our build up play, Oscar and Willian did that alot. Also Matic and Mikel are not abel to control a midfield, they drop down deep whenever we are under pressure and get in the way of our central defenders.

Look, disappointing, but fair result in the end. Upwards and onwards ...

I hear you, but the ref made it unfair twice. But yes, onwards and upwards.

Fab for Matic was a poor sub as midfield lost control after that. Together with RLC sub who didn't do much but I won't complain as there is nothing to play for and he gets the minutes in.

After all the missed chances and wrong pen/red card decisions all in all the draw was probably fair, though I thought if we really wanted to go for the kill we could have.
