embarassing line up.

Mikel Matic. Both unlikely to be here next year. Youngsters must be in despair. Hiddink being selfish and not thinking about the club. Gradually his reputation with the fans is waning.

Guus is clueless, mikel + matic against 3rd bottom, get a grip

Doesn't want to be accused of weakening the team that stopped Spurs winning the league. If this was mid-table nothing to play for either side then I am sure he would play the kids, which he will probably do against Liverpool and Leicester.

I actually think the team is weakened by not playing some if the players mentioned

that is a terrible line up. normally i wouldn't say this because i respect the guy, but i'm really disappointed with Guus regarding the line up
i'm not expecting 11 youngsters to start today, but why wouldn't we even start RLC? hell it's not like he is a sh*tty player ffs

Awful line up. Why on earth are we selecting such a dull starting eleven? i mean i know we don't want to be accused of weakening the team but surely RLC, Baba, Kenedy and Traore should be involved... our youngsters must be so disappointed .. at least Van Gaal plays his youngsters, they aren't gonna want to play for Chelsea if they don't get a chance.

Disappointed with that lineup, there is no reason why we can't test our youth. Doesn't matter how poor Ivanovic is going to be, he always going to play.

Really like all the youth on display today.

Ivan needs to get more games under his belt to continue his blistering form and development.

Annoyingly there is quite a few reasons why Guus might have had to play a squad like this.
1) Integrity of the league how would Newcastle and Norwich feel if we threw in a few youngsters and lost today, admittedly the youngsters might bring more energy to the game as I and probably quite a few others imagine this team might lack a little motivation going into this game
2) Conte might want to evaluate these first team players and see who he wants to keep, how he wants players to play etc.

3) A lot of these stars will want to prove themselves to the fans and the new Coach for instance Mikel and Matic are probably fighting for places in the squad next season as probably the likes of Terry, Cahill and Ivanovic, and Courois and Hazard still have a lot to prove.

4) We might want to make sure Sunderland get relegated from the league.

I am not condoning Guus' selection, as like most on here I would much prefer a team containing some youth and don't really see why RLC, Traore, Kenedy and Baba couldn't have started. All I can say is hopefully we see some younger players out in the last 2 games.

Hopefully the "Stars" turn up today and hammer this Dreary Sunderland team back down to the Championship.
