Sunderland vs. Chelsea (PL) 07/05/2016 KO 15:00 BST

Featured Replies

He is playing it safe with the lineup and avoiding Norwich and Newcastle claiming he "helped" Sunderland.  So soon after people questioned Hazard and Cesc saying that did not want Spurs to win the title.  Kinda similar.

At the end of the day, Guus has 7 days left at Chelsea technically, he doesn't give a f**k what any of us think, or what happens to be honest.  RLC will ask to leave in summer, especially when he knows that Matic is starting ahead of him after poor displays, and Mikel is literally undroppable under Hiddink. He is Guus' first name on the teamsheet

We have f**k all to play for, try something new, personnel wise.  Why not even be proper rebellious and change from 4-2-3-1 ?!

My initial reaction is the same as the rest of you. However guus really has little choice. We want the youth to play but if we do that, they lose and play poorly we will get the blame for not taking a match against a relegation threatened side seriously.

No excuse however against Liverpool and the foxes not to use youth though.

While I understand the point Guus made about integrity, I don't think anyone would have any right to complain if we fielded RLC or Traore. Seems a bit of a cop out to me.

Disappointed with that lineup, there is no reason why we can't test our youth. Doesn't matter how poor Ivanovic is going to be, he always going to play.

and get a contract renewal

Pride of the club.. blah blah blah. We will find an excuse

For what little its worth, I for one don't care at all what any other fans think about us, in fact them all hating us makes it even better when we win. Proud 'chav and rent boi' since mid-90's

I agree, nobody is asking him to play the same team that won the youth cup, but playing Kenedy, RLC or Traore isn't going to lose us any integrity.
