Gokhan Tore is a player its easy to hate in fairness. Especially if he plays for your team as he is horribly mediocre and very lazy.

Yeah can see why they've turned, but to turn so soon against a new player is taking the piss

Delicious West Ham, absolutely orgasmic.

They'll be European power houses with their stadium, players and 'fans' they said. Get your head out the fuxking clouds we said. No European football for the foreseeable. Utterly delish.

"best league in the world" they say. our mid table team is being beat at home by a romanian mid table team. shows you how far the premier league has fallen tbh.

So now that West Ham are out of Europe and have lost all the revenue from Europe will the West Ham board be asking for more money from U.K. tax payers to help pay for their stadium. U.K, tax payers have helped pay for the ground so no doubt the West Ham board will ask for more.

I think if Payet, Lanzini, Sakho, Ayew, Feghouli were playing, they were winning this. I think it's disappointing because they're representing the PL and they've lowered the level of the league towards the world. We have only City, Spurs and Arsenal who represents England in Europe?

Champions League changes announced tomorrow: 4 top clubs from England, Spain, Italy Germany qualify automatically for group stages from 2018

I think this is really unfair to be honest. Just because these countries have the best players in the world playing for their clubs, it doesn't mean they should get special treatment over the rest of Europe.

The rest of Europe have almost no hope of catching up now, the European coefficient rankings are pretty much a complete waste of time now.

Early days, but West Ham in danger of being another example of 'be careful what you wish for'...moving to a new ground is great for the coffers in one way, but if you lose your soul and what made your ground a hard place to play at, then you lose out in other ways...Arsenal have shown that ever since they went to Emirates...far easier to play there than Highbury...this Olympic stadium intimidates no-one either...could be a tough season for them and then Payet will want out

Closed shop somehow manages to become even more closed. So the richer get richer, and the rest can get stuffed. Marvellous.

The Bravo situation is pretty surprising.

I'm surprised that Guardiola was so keen to bring Bravo to Manchester City. He has moments of brilliance and amazing saves, but he also has streaks of complete sh*tness that will singlehandedly lose games.

I'm equally surprised that Bravo is going there. I was sure he'd never leave La Liga. I think he's going to have a major adjustment with the culture, language, and game.

Finally I'm surprised that Cillessen is going to Barcelona. He's okay but nothing special. He's prone to confidence problems and is a sensitive soul. The upside is that that he's one of the most likable Dutch players; the Dutch produce an awful lot of overconfident arrogant inconsiderate pricks. But it's worrying for a team expected to always win. He also has literally never really saved a penalty in his career. He finally saved his first one last year but it went in on rebound!

i do agree in some ways, but on the flipside these minnows have absolutely zero chance of winning the trophy. it is like you or me continually being allowed to enter into a competition knowing we're always going to be the runner up (or worse) for me that just sucks. they should at least make a separate champions league which involves the minnows, then when they've gained enough points they can go into the main CL.

it sounds a bit harsh i know, but at the end of the day these clubs from russia, poland, czech rep, bulgaria etc are just there to make up the numbers. it's about time the champions league involved the best teams in the top leagues facing off. i would like to see the top 6 from each top league be included and allow the europa to 7 and 8 place. uefa need to start switching up the whole model because it's got a bit stale.

pisses me off even more that we aren't in europe. the places are being taken up by clubs who have no business being on that level. arsenal have failed year on year to produce anything good in europe, west ham being in europe is an anomaly, spurs are spurs, and leicester's joy ride will end this season. chelsea you f**ked up

Early days but West Ham wobbling already.

I hope that new stadium is the death of them, complete bullsh*t the way they've been gifted that place that they don't deserve and complete peanuts too.

Yep. Danny Baker said as much on the radio recently. As a Millwall fan he still doesn't like their new stadium - the old den was a very difficult place to go and things just can't bee the same in these new stadiums.

Re West Ham, I think he put it, "Now West Ham are the latest club to sell their soul for some comfier seats and nice toilets".

Apparently Janmaat signed for Watford - must have missed that one.

Also the next step in the career of unlikely European semi-finalist Simon Church is in the Eredivisie... if he scores more than ten goals we should refuse to sign defenders from the Dutch league ever again.

New stadiums, Champions League changes, overinflated fees, ugh football isn't what it was at all.

Firstly new stadiums have no soul whatsoever and it ruins the atmosphere. Even watching on TV the games just feel automatically dull in stadiums like the Emirates etc.

Secondly so now Top 4 are guaranteed places in the CL, no qualifiers. Remind me again why it's called the CHAMPIONS league? I miss the days when we had three European competitions (Champions League, UEFA Cup and Cup Winners Cup).

Lastly transfer fees, they've gotten utterly ridiculous I mean you have clubs spending £30-40 million in potential not the finished article but a player who has the potential to be great and you're seeing clubs like Palace spend £30 mil on Benteke who was a comple flop at Liverpool.

What has happened to the beautiful game?

It's reasons like this why I'm becoming disillusioned with the whole game.

It's only going to get worse Bobby.

Overseas glamour games (that don't happen like China this summer), bigger fee's the whole lot.

Football is now mainly about money, long gone are the days passion, desire and hard work were the building blocks of a successful club.

Don't get me wrong I'll always follow my club till the day I die but it's becoming a hollow experience for some I'd imagine/
