Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

Barcelona have had 13 attempts, 8 on target and scored 6. Compare that to our return from 28 attempts at Swansea - if we could somehow just be more ruthless in front of goal we'd be a killer team, but I guess it's true that putting the ball in the net is the most difficult part of the game.

Ian wright logic: watch Arsenal get dicked on for 90 minutes and rely on PSG missing host of chances to sponnily get a point...he then says...'Arsenal will win home game against PSG cos they're there for the taking...if Arsenal had started better they would have won tonight'. definition of deluded

I can't remember who but I was told by a poster on this forum last week that the Scottish league is on the same level as Ligue 1.

I wonder if they still feel that way tonight?

David Ospina starts, Wenger just does this stuff purely for the laughs, Can you imagine Arsenal fan tv if they get thrashed tonight? Forget the usual 11pm Babestation routine, It's Arsenal fan tv all day long.

There haven't been enough Babestation references since that Ian Beale Twitter account went down.

Chelsea have been keen on Marquinhos for some time...shame they didn't get him rather than Luiz. as likeable as Luiz is, Marquinhos looks a proper defender

yes, very much a defender i admire, but we had to go with what was available.  I'd love to have him on our team.

There's Cavani for you, thank god we didn't abandon Costa and sign this guy

I haven't seen a striker miss more clear-cut opportunities in one game since Chris Sutton's debut.

Actually, I think he missed more than Sutton.

Arsenal should have lost by about 5.

So apparently it's Chelsea and United's fault that Falcao flopped in England. Absolutely nothing to do with the fact he is finished as a top player.

"Falcao suffered a serious knee injury in 2014 and Vasilyev believes Monaco will reap the rewards of staying patient with the 30-year-old."

You can't make it up

Bayern Munich under Carlo Ancelotti:

5 Games
5 Wins
20 Goals scored
0 Goal conceded

Carlo out!

I never liked Bayern, but when they are so dominant, I want them to fail even more. Carlo or no Carlo :blush2:
