In an ideal world maybe we should move fixtures around, this though is the way its been for many years now due to policing requirements. The Premier League also like quite rightly to uphold the integrity of the league and have all teams play at the same time on the final weekend, yes there are many dead rubber matches but each position in the league can mean a difference in two million pounds. Their match against Palace appears to be such a match but the difference in prize money for their seasons work can be considerable,not to forget the fans. What happens to the supporters who have booked travel at considerable cost from London to see this match plus the Palace fans of course, do they not deserve consideration? So stop bleating about how hard you are done by Jose and get on with the job instead of preparing for failure. I have to say it will be AMAZING if Ajax do us all a favour and give them a real good thrashing.

I think its sad to see the man he has become. He will always be remembered here as the man who took us to the next level and won us trophies, he had a charm though then that enticed us. Many rival fans though saw something that garnished their hatred towards him. Today I see a bitter man,who has lost all the charm he had and to be honest I find his interviews now a complete turnoff to the point I actually hate his voice.

So Wenger stays for 2 years according to arsenal friendly press types.......lovely. 2 more years of the exact same season as the last 10, utter failure with Wenger's bullsh*t 4th place trophies

How Millwall are allowed to still have fans at their games is beyond reason. What a load of total prats. Seriously either ban that club or make them play behind close doors. 

Saw some Bradford colours in that. Can't really judge till we know the full story. Least they weren't picking off lone supporters and kids like Tottenham do. In my book that's a lot worse. 

Anyone watching the world cup in South Korea I have just seen video ref replay in action and it's horrible play continued and ref Just stopped play after 1 minute

United are taking a risk resting all of these players again. Some of their first 11 haven't played a game for a few weeks now, they may not be quite ready for the game against Ajax.

Spurs 7-1 up at Hull. Were Spurs that good today or were Hull that bad?

Arsenal out of the top four; I can't adequately express how satisfying this is. 

On the flip side, they will be able to focus more on the league next season, as being in Europe isn't always a positive. Arguably, it can benefit a side not to be in, in terms of focusing resources, etc.

I didn't even know Arsenal got a third 

Radio 5 are banging on about a stat which gives us the best defence and attack in the EPL. Great and all that but we're second. We've qualified for the CL, and developed as a squad, but we've won nowt. Arguably, Arsenal can win more than us, despite finishing fifth (hopefully not though). 

At the back of my mind I keep wondering whether this is a high water mark. We'll need a good start to the next season to overcome concerns about playing at Wembley.
