Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea

Dave also had problem at the beginning. He was a bench warmer when Ashley Cole the legend was till in form. Look how patient and professional he was. He never complained. Cesc is another example of professionals and patience. A lot of rumors that we are going to sell him. But the guy waits for his minutes to shine.

Chelsea still might sell Cesc, his not in the starting 11 unless for injuries or suspensions atm.

3-0 win, 9 points clear at the top after the shambles that was last season and you're still taking pot shots at the manager who has somehow masterminded that feat.

Given Pedro, the player picked instead of Michy scored twice I think Conte is vindicated in his selections and substitutions today.

While I agree with you, I also agree with Bola as well. I think it was quite humiliating, the way he was treated. I am elated with the win and Conte obviously did pick the best team judging on the result but I felt Bats could have been brought on a lot earlier, for one of the front free to give them a rest, especially Pedro as he worked his socks off all game. Then when Chalobah came on, is it me or was he almost playing as an auxillary CF, who was often dropping back to midfield when we did not have the ball.

But we had the game wrapped and he could have got more minutes than he received today tbh. I always get confused between him and Chalobah, but I was irritated when I saw us bring on Chalobah and Aina before we brought on Batshuayi. I just did not understand the logic of bringing on Batshuayi with seconds to spare. I viewed that as humiliating as you knew it was highly unlikely he would get a touch of the ball. Would of rather he was kept as unused sub tbh.

But bigger picture is we won and another 3 points but I did feel really sorry for Batshuayi on a player level and personal level.

I somehow believe Conte did have a plan about bring on Bats replacing Pedro in 70th minute as Pedro is often replaced at this time. But the fact that Pedro was having a brilliant game and he will be absent the next game (which means he does not need to take a rest earlier) affected Conte's decision. Willian was playing very good in second half too while Hazard was like a boss on the field. It might be difficult to take one of those players out.

FA cup is coming. Bats will have his chance. I am also not surprised if Conte gives him a chance next game, either in a starting role or in a substitution very early on. We all believed Conte would have used him this game but Conte showed that as the manage he knows how to make his own decision and he was completely right about it today.

They were playing very well but one of them could have come off for fresher legs and received standing ovation. Bringing him on at the end against a team where he must of been finally thinking that would be his first league start without Costa, he is limited to seconds. Conte could of brought him on earlier to try and get him a goal. The game was well in our hands and we looked increasingly likely to keep picking them up on the counter which would have been perfect for him.

Batshuayi will not be given a chance next game, well definitely from the start anyway. If we are battering them then maybe he gets more mins later in second half rather than seconds. However if the game is tight, highly unlikely he features. FA Cup yeah he will start but it is a shame that he has hardly got to prove himself this season in the PL.

P.S- Your English is fine mate.

I feel sorry for the lad too, but i`m sure Conte has his reason. Just like with Fabregas early in the season. He very well may not like some of the thing Michy did in training or try to improve some of his abilities/skills. Conte say it more then few times, that he want 100% in training and he is try to improve every player in technical, physical and tactical aspect. Conte is not only good manager, but he is a great coach and he can improve his player greatly.

So this very well maybe the case with Michy. And of course that`s probably its not Conte transfer, but Emanalo. Or maybe that is a fact now.

Lmao we win 3-0 and set a new club record with 12 wins in a row, yet some still find a way to complain about Antonio. This isnt Batshuayi FC, if he finds it humiliating being subbed on in the dying minutes to kill off a game then he really should look into different profession, cause professional footballer aint for him. Hes young, very raw and fron the sound of it Conte doesnt feel he is tactically ready. Going out on loan would be foolish, he needs stay at the club to continue learning the system and how Antonio wants him to play.

Fingers crossed Conte will be sacked and replaced by a manager who will play Michy week in and week out. Don't care if we lose as long as Michy is in the team that's all that matters. ::ChELSeAFaN::

what is the f**king logic of that last substitution? to give the player a total humiliation??  2 seconds on the pitch and then final whistle with the team already winning 3 goals.. Bad management, no any other way..

Maybe Conte wanted him to prove himself.
Good point, maybe it's to do with something he's seen in training, which we wouldn't know about, Bats doesn't strike me as a player with an attitude though.

So what's the solution? Sell him at the end of the season? Or Mitchy should wait till next season for more playing time?
We will be competing in the champions league next season so am certain Conte will bring in his own type of Center Forward.
I know Mitchy will still like to hang around but with his quality I will like him to remain here but I don't think it will be good for his career.

Sorry, but I think if you are backing the manager for a wrong selection that won us 3 points at home to Bournemouth it will harm us later when the manager return to that same selection later when Costa gets injured and we are playing a better team and we lose lots of points for it.
Am sorry for Mitchy, if he can't start upfront against Bournemouth at home, I don't think he will ever be good enough to start any other match except we are playing Championship teams in the FA CUP.

Now I see the reason why Debruyne left.

I`m pretty sure Liverpool was thinking the same when they lose to Bournemouth and then get draw with West Ham. You have to learn that there isn`t an easy game in the premier league, even when you play against the last, and no matter if its home or away.

And if you know so much better then Conte, why you not going coaching top club ?

I`m getting pissed with all the crying here. Someone always find something to moan about it, even when we make a history club record of 12 straight win in the hardest league in the world with the World Best coaches this year. This is one of the hardest season in the PL.

And this is the first Conte season in a team that finish 10 last season .... I`m pretty sure no one was expecting us to be leaders, to play such good football and to be in such crazy run of 12 straight wins in a row.

So i`m pretty sure Conte know better then you and me who he need to play and how that will reflect now and later on the season.

I don't think anyone is questioning Conte but feel sorry for a forward signed for 32m given 10seconds in a home game when your main striker is suspended.

Your missing the whole point, it's not about being a coach or knowing better but posters can question why Bats only got 10 seconds.

I thought he would have played yesterday and if he didn't cut it he would be subbed anyway...how else are we going to get an idea of how good or raw he is. Pretty sure he will play against Peterborough....if he doesn't then I think we can question why spend millions on a player that will rarely get a game.  The problem is he came to a team that at the start of the season you might have thought he would get a few games here and there; then we go on this incredible run with the main striker is in amazing form also.  He has to be patient and accept that he works hard and learns along the way or shove in a transfer request and moan and whine like Lukaku.

It depends on what happens between now and the end of the season, but if he can't play even with Diego out, I'd say it doesn't look too hopeful for him. We often loan players out, so I'd say that could be a likely scenario during next summer.

Exactly, I'm not sure why some are getting so upset about this, we signed a striker for a lot of money and he doesn't get a look in. Like I said before, what if Diego is out for more games, we continue to play a false 9, even against top sides? Or play a striker Conte doesn't trust, that's a stupid scenario to be in, given the fact that we had the entire summer to sign a trustworthy back up striker. We may as well of kept Traore, which everybody wanted anyway, I don't think Bats is a Conte singing, it doesn't strike me that way, regardless, this situation is far from ideal, every team needs two strikers capable of playing and scoring.

why don't you try and pick 1 proper good reason of that substitution first before jumping on conte's always right bandwagon? Nah, forget it, you can't.. 12 wins in a row or even 21 wins in a row is so irrelevant to that subs decision under that situation but if you always want to hide behind the end results every now and then to justify your little pathetic worshipping act then i can only say you're the boring one..

And for the others who said this isn't Batshuayi FC, this is definitely not Conte FC either, it's CHELSEA FC, remember that..

Who's to say that Conte would pick the same system against a "stronger team"?

His team selection, formation, tactics etc worked, got us three goals, three points and a clean sheet but you want us to criticise him for a hypothetical scenario?

Sorry not having that, it's moaning for the sake of moaning.

People that question treatment of Batshuayi aren't moaning for moanings sake though, well certainly not in my case...it's out of concern...Conte has obviously been brilliant and I like him as a bloke too...but barely giving Batshuayi any game time, even in games we have wrapped up, is clearly going to destroy a player's confidence and in turn, ensure he looks even less ready to play in the future...on top of that his value is being  diminished significantly, so we have paid out £33.1m on a player who doesn't play and who won't get bought for what we paid...I just feel Batshuayi  could have played a lot more minutes than he has, therefore learning about the pl (something Conte seems obsessed about re. Bats but doesn't actually play him to give him a chance to learn it) and getting more goals, e.g. Like the key equaliser Against Watford...Conte obviously knows more about Batshuayi than me, he sees him in training every day and must not be impressed, but the way he's not using him, makes it a self fulfilling prophecy that he will never be ready for the pl

Exactly. Conte is doing what he feels is best for CHELSEA. And from the looks of things hes doing a pretty good job. Not surprised you found something to moan about though. We could have the league wrapped up by March and you still would fine something to complain about

Nothing against Conte but you wouldn't really expect him to say anything else. I suppose I'll be bashed for saying that now.

This is getting boring now. There's more people moaning about the supposed bashing of Conte than the bashing of Conte himself.

This is a Michy thread, people are entitled to give in an opinion on why they think he isn't being given the required mins, why he would only play 10 seconds on Monday and be the last substitution. It's not questioning Conte himself so there's no need to be so defensive. It's being interested in a player at Chelsea and his future. My opinion is Conte either doesn't rate Bats and the last game confirmed that. I am sure I wrote messages months ago questioning why Bats wasn't given more minutes.

I very much doubt you will see at many clubs a player signed for 32m and only given 10 seconds in a game at home with your main striker suspended, it makes a good discussion and speculation if something else has happened behind the scenes.
