Why no Batshuayi? Persisting with the same clueless team for 83 minutes. 

 

Having got the goal back, I just don't understand how we can go the final half hour without a shot on target .. onwards and upwards...

 

I'm fuming. Our squad has been sh*t since the CL win. Never been able to replace players like Lamps and Drogba.

Some dreadful individual performances and that sums it up really, it's a team of individuals. 

So disappointing. Absolutely no intensity or aggression. Even after the goal we created nothing. 

Whats annoying is that I don't believe that they were that much better than us - we just didn't turn up. 

Good job there's another game on Tuesday. 

WTF was that first half?! Liverpool didn't even press much and we couldn't string some passes together? Can't play that poorly at this level and get away with it. Also subs far too late again! Second week in a row we gift a team points who just had to turn up. So disappointed! I can't even choose a scapegoat because bar Costa no one performed tonight. I'd have put Luiz in MF as there was just no energy tonight. God I cant wait for Zouma to return.

Awful. Just bloody awful. Losing at home is bad enough, but losing at home to Liverpool is horrendous, even more so when it's fully deserved. Genuinely sickened by this

I'd pay 5 grand to fight Henderson I hate the c**t, his face sets me off, on a footballing note, Ivan and Cahill should be warming the bench, luiz played very well the team and manager seemed unreactive and I owe the forum 50 quid, scouse sh*t bags

I remember when we used to be good in the big games...just about. Lovely watching Liverpool beat us at the Bridge, never used to happen.

The result is bad enough,  but worse, the performance was bloody terrible, really terrible.

Pretty disappointed with conte in this match tbh. We had momentum after the costa goal, and instead of making the right subs, we let Liverpool have the ball for 20 mins. 

 

Brainless management from Conte, hopefully he bucks his ideas up and changes this bunch of idiots

I said so 2-0 is to much to ask. Don't understand why we waited to make changes 8mins before the end! First half we were so poor and I really don't understand why batty didn't come on. It really annoys me to lose at home and to this lot 

Awful first half.

Better in the 2nd, but still not good enough. Conte left it faarrrrrr too late with his changes.

Hopefully this gives conte a bit of a wake up call. Fabregas needs to start and Alonso needs to come in at left back.

Prepare yourselves

Only Costa and Luiz turned up tonight. Everyone was half sleep. 

I f**kING HATE LIVERPOOL!!!!

 

That first half killed us because it was beyond shocking.

 

- Ivanovic, Matic (barring the assist), Oscar were all terrible, Willian not much better. I single these guys out because it's not the first time they've performed like this of late. 

- Conte left those subs far too late when we were chasing a game, I still don't understand not putting another striker on when you're getting beat.

- We need the creativity Fabregas brings to the team, we're sh*te at defending even without him in the team anyway.

- I think that gives a glimpse of how good a signing James Rodriguez would have been for us, we are so over reliant on Costa & Hazard for our end product.

 

- on the plus side Costa kept his form going, if we get him the ball he'll score.

- Tibo made a terrific save at 2-1 after his drop early in the game, hopefully that gives him a lot of confidence.

- although we were beaten by the better team, Henderson won't score another goal like that in his career so we were beaten by an absolute worldie.

- we were better in general second half, although how much of that was down to Liverpool taking their foot of the gas I'm not sure.

 

ok I was clutching a bit with the positives, but they're there.... Kinda...
