December 3, 20169 yr That Aguero tackle was a leg breaker, and it was all but brushed aside by Tyler and Neville. If it had been the other way around with Luiz going in they'd be calling for a season ban and a jail sentence. Delighted with the result, we rode our luck at times but we've had more than our fair share of bad luck and nearly moments. Another huge win, another great weekend!
December 3, 20169 yr f**k off Aguero and Fernandinho! So f**king proud of our lads today!!!! TOP OF THE LEAGUE! YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!
December 3, 20169 yr What a crazy bloody game. City were the better team, but you know what, they didn't take their chances. What we offered was superb counter attacking football. In the process we passed the biggest test of our winning run. Courtios was pretty good. The defence were by and large good, but some of the decision making with passing was terrifyingly poor. Kante did a mountain of work, as usual. Cesc did the best he could defensively, and the pass for Costa was gorgeous. Moses and Alonso had less to do in attack (as to be expected when we're on the back food), but were solid. Alonso's ball to Hazard was lovely too. Hazard did what Hazard does in a game where we aren't dominant. He defends more, and tries to make something happen when he gets the ball. Pedro was ok. Willian frustrated me when he came on, bad end products, and throwing his arms up in the air a bit too often for my liking (looking very frustrated). But his goal was superbly taken, so all is forgiven. Costa worked hard as always, and now he's leading goal scoring charts again, and Aguero might miss a few games. Couldn't be happier with the result...the balance of play, much less pleasant. But as has been the case in this run of wins, the character of the team is so much better (amazing what some wins do for confidence). City of course, ended the game by being monumental twats. Aguero has a nasty side, even if no one wants to acknowledge it. Remember his stamp on Luiz's ass? Top of the table. KTBFFH!
December 3, 20169 yr Haha. Aguero v Luiz. Ain't karma a bitch. Edited December 3, 20169 yr by paraphil
December 3, 20169 yr I hope that c**t aguero gets a Roy Keane tackle and that prick Fernandinho gets stamped all over.
December 3, 20169 yr Holy sh*t. What a fightback. Never expected Cesc to help turn this game around like he did. I have to admit I expected a draw from the outset given we were playing in City's den, but wow Conte has turned this Chelsea side into something else. No matter what, we always seem to find a way to win. Also am not surprised that Guardiola fell prey to the counter-attack and not too surprised that he has again proven too inflexible to respond effectively to sides which take the initiative through counter-attacks. Have to LOL at City imploding near the end. Aguero's overall play hasn't been extraordinary, but they rely on him so much for goals. They may well struggle without him. Hope Luiz is OK because he's very important to our overall play. If not, Azpi, Chalobah or JT could fill in for a game or so.
December 3, 20169 yr absolutely despise city and their fans, with their sensitive "everybody is against us" attitude. Yet theyll STILL try to defend Aguero. gypsies
December 3, 20169 yr I feel exhausted after watching that! What a win! Now excuse me, I'm off for a lie down.
December 3, 20169 yr PERFORMANCE OF CHAMPIONS! So happy with everyone today for not giving up, and giving it their all. From Diego's relentless pressure, to Fabregas pass out of nowhere, to Hazard killing the game off, to Moses' usual energy and defence and Chalobah sticking up for his teammate :D
December 3, 20169 yr Have no voice left but so what, this is champions style football, scare the crap out of your supporters, look weak in defence score an own goal then beat the favourites at their patch, Luiz my man of the match, isn't it joyous to having players that can counter attack and actually score! Thanks CFC a heart murmuring roller coaster 3 points to the Chels happy days
December 3, 20169 yr City without Aguero and Fernandinho over the Christmas run will be a beautiful thing.
December 3, 20169 yr Did I honestly hear from Martin Tyler that the man who ran down the Stamford Bridge touch line to his players in front of the Barcelona fans was unhappy with the celebrations of our staff? Surely I'm hearing thingsIf that happened during THAT match then it is sweet justice
December 3, 20169 yr Won't be feeling too ecstatic until I hear on how Luiz's knee is, but what a brilliant performance from top to bottom, and the players handled themselves with dignity and class while the Peptulent children spat the dummy. If City drop points over the next few games because of not having Aguero and Fernandinho then it will be even sweeter.
December 3, 20169 yr Even when they scored on 44th minute, I was confident we would beat them. What I am happy about is that this team gives me belief, even certainty that it will prevail against all odds. Magic. All players have been fantastic. A real TEAM. Love it.
December 3, 20169 yr Cheers lads, was relying on us drawing/losing today so I wouldn't go on the sesh but be rude not to now.
December 3, 20169 yr Oh, and I'm pretty sure Fernandinho got away for like 4 bookable offences in the game...but then, we might have got a touch lucky a few times too. Referee didn't want to brandish cards, but had to in the end.
December 3, 20169 yr Antonio Conte, does it better, makes me happy, makes me feel this way! Edited December 3, 20169 yr by Fendieta
