well they are open to selling both it seems, so we may well be looking at silva too. i would prefer lemar in all honesty, he is left footed and could slot in on that right wing. he is one of the top assist makers of 21 years old and younger in europe i saw online the other day. lemar and mendy would be the two i would prefer from monaco, and nainggolan of roma to partner kante. bakayoko for me seems like a marginally better matic. he is young though so has scope to improve, but just doesn't stand out for me as much of a improvement in our midfield. 

Dont het the hype for Nainggolan tbh. Dont see what he contributes with that Kanté doesnt already do at a much higher level. I would much prefer we get a better passer we can slot in next to kanté. If we are to succeed in Europe at the moment we only have Fabregas and he obviously isnt athletic enough to play in a two man midfield

Nainggolan is being overrated. Scores the occasional screamers but people are acting like he's another Vidal. If he was, he'd have been bought by a top club a long time ago just like Vidal was. Nainggolan is also 29 while Bakayoko is 22. For 31m, Bakayoko is a great buy. Roma would probably ask for something a little higher for Nainggolan which makes it a pointless deal, considering he'll probably been done at the top level in 2-3 years. Bakayoko will keep improving for the next 5 years and will be a much better player than Nainggolan eventually, especially under Conte's guidance - just like Vidal came into his own under Conte. There's no debate here for me.

Would cost 80m+. Why buy him when we can buy Sanchez for 30-40m less? Granted Sanchez would be tough to snatch from Arsenal but it's definitely possible.

Because I think it's a better idea to buy a promising yet already supremely effective player in Silva -- I don't think Arsenal would consider selling to us at all.  They'll probably look to offload the guy to Bayern for 20m cheaper than they would to the PL club.

Also, Silva would not cost that much. Figures above 80m or so would indicate the player has achieved many things as well as being very marketable. Silva has shown many great things but not to the level of Pogba/Ronaldo/Higuain etc. and not to mention Monaco aren't really in a position to be saying no considering their finances

He has a lot of attributes that Kante does not possess. His long range passing is impressive and plus is capable of scoring goals from long range. Nainggolan is nothing more than a YouTube player, he is an average midfielder with a great shot on him, Bakayoko has always been the player I have wanted to see paired with Kante, would be such a formidable midfield pairing

as for Bernardo Silva, other than Hazard he has been my favourite player in Europe to watch this season if Monaco are willing to sell we should be all over that

Agreed. Would love to see him here. Nainggolan offers more in the final third than someone like Bakayoko. Which is really what we need.

He has been one of the best players in Serie A this season. He has got into double figures from midfield. That is not what I would describe as an 'average player'. I was watching their match with Inter like last month or 2 at San Siro which they won 3-1 and he scored 2 amazing goals which showed what he is capable of in a nutshell. Tenacity, stamina, technique. Yes, he has been helped that he has been pushed forward a lot by Spalletti this season but the fact he is in double figures is amazing. Kante and Bakayoko will help us more defensively but there will be times in UCL when you want a player to do something special from out of nowhere. Nainggolan is capable of these things. Anyway, does not seem it will happen but for me a brilliant player. Has everything.

Would take bakayoko over Radja anywday, simply because of his age. He is only 22 and already looking like a superstar, and with the guidance of Conte and being paired up with Kante in a 2 man midfield, we would be unstoppable. 

Still not keen on bakayoko tbh. Was at fault for both juve goals tonight. I just don't see a special player in there. Hope we go for someone else.

He's been awful tonight in the Champions League and i haven't been impressed with him in any other game involving Monaco. Out of all of the Monaco players, he is one of the ones that has impressed me the least this season. I'm certainly not seeing a superstar that's for sure. I would rather stick with Matic than waste a load of money on Bakayoko.

First time Ive took notice if him and he's been terrible, looked out of his depth. Marchisio has schooled him, would much rather we sign him.

Have to kind of agree here, he has been pretty terrible.. But throughout the season he is one of the main reasons why Monaco are doing so well in Ligue 1 atm

Seen Monaco a few times in the champions league now and just don't see what's so good about him...don't think he's any better than Matic

I'd take Matic over him aswell tbh. I'm not sure what the club will look for in a partner for kante. I think naby keita would be a great buy, he's tenacious and good going forward aswell. 

I can't see marchisio coming here, he's only been out of the team as he hadn't been quite ready since returning from serious injury. Probably end up with a new deal at juve.

Only really watched Bakayoko in the champions league but every game i've watched him he's not once impressed. Radja please.

Bakayoko is still a big talent. But ultimately he offers what Matic does, though he is more of an athlete.

 

As I've said, prefer someone who can do a bit of everything but weighted towards being great in the final third. We will be champions next season, so teams will shut up shop and we have more matches, and to see Hazard et al being supplied by Kante, Matic, Moses and Alonso is not good if you have aspirations to do well in Europe.

100% agree. Don't see what all the fuss is about this guy. In fairness though Monaco as a whole were very poor tonight, and, excuse the pun, it really was men against boys. Juventus were very solid.

No guile no craft lazy and over hyped. Avoid.

Nothing special there. Anyone can make Matic look good on YouTube too. There's nothing in that clip that's particularly appealing that we don't already have.

Just work on RLC ffs. He's one of the best dribblers with the ball at his feet and has the perfect build to hold up against anyone. Getting forward isn't an issue with him, work on his defensive side and we could have one of the best CM's in the league in a few years. Him and Kante would complement each other well. 

Can't be working on him while trying to win the CL next season. Look at Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern and even Barca. They hardly start any "prospects". You need the finished product in your XI or at least something close to it. What you're saying would make RLC a "project" that probably wouldn't bear fruit for 2-3 seasons. Not that I'm against it. Just pointing that out.
