who else is feeling more skeptical about winning the league as each fixture approaches?

I feel more and more sceptical every time spurs roll past another team.

Don't. Spurs could win every game (as unlikely as that is) and still not get anywhere near being champions. I know this has been said but we still have to slip up in three games. I'm not saying don't feel sceptical...just don't based on those mugs. If we start to drop points, then I think we should be worried. No matter what happens, good or bad, we will decide this title race. Spurs can smash every team 10-0 as far as I'm concerned.

I would absolutely love it if that happened. Imagine if they won every single game and we still won the league by 7 points.

The bitterness and the tears from North London would be immensely enjoyable.

Hahaha I agree, it would be the one time they didn't bottle a run-in. Except they will quickly realise they already bottled it in September.

Bless 'em

I didn't imagine this, did I? That time a team with some fat bloke in goal, a fat bloke at centre back, a cokehead up front, the Algerian Andros Townsend, Robert Huth, and Danny Simpson finished 11 points ahead of "title challengers" Tottenham?

I can't imagine Andrea Bocelli in a Tottenham shirt, can you?

After learning about the news that Thibaut will not play, I get more skeptical now. Still, I trust in Conte's genius. He'll make adjustments. That's what he's good at.

For the first time this season, i'm getting really worried about it. A defeat i can take, but the way we lost to United is really worrying. The only positive is that we have got ourselves into a position where we could afford to lose a few points.

The problems are actually quite simple to see, the defence and our striker. We aren't keeping clean sheets and our striker has had another season where he has shown that he can only play for half a season. The defence is tougher to fix but the striker isn't. I think Costa must be dropped or we will lose more points. We are creating fewer and fewer chances because every time one of our attacks end up at his feet, he losses the ball.

Blowing the title after having a 10 point lead would be up there with one of the worst moments as a Chelsea fan.

Not time to panic guys!

Spurs still got United left to play - so hopefully United get a result there. And then they got a game with Arsenal. Leicester have become better recently so may be tough, and Palace/West Ham can be good enough to get draws out of them hopefully. And in this day and age even Hull could cause an upset. :laugh2:

I feel pretty confident. Our next 2 Premierleague games in Everton and Southampton are our toughest, and we have to win both of them.

Conte has the title in his hands at the moment, we have 4 points in our pockets which allows us to lose one more time. We're in a poor form and I'm surprised why Conte keeps playing with Costa and Matic.

Everything depends on us now.

We need 15pts to win the league, that is if Tottenham win every single game. Obviously if they lose, we need 12 pts, lose again we need 9 and so on.

Their run in is harder than ours, we have Watford, Boro, Soton, Sunderland (in no order) all at home, with WBA and Everton away.  Have to fancy we win all the home games.

Spurs still have Palace away, Arsenal home,   West Ham away, Utd home, Leicester away, Hull away, in that order.  They aint winning all them, no chance.

I fully expect us to win the league.

We just cannot f**k this up, come on lads we have to get ourselves back by booking an FA Cup final and smashing Southampton after,

We won't.  We need 5 wins if spurs win every single game , 5 wins with 4 at home.  Everton and WBA away... fairly likely IMO

Rick I need those comforting words right now, wish I was as confident as you

I will say this about it. If spurs manage to overhaul us with us having one more get out of free jail card and them having 4 away left then fair play to them and our resident spud on here..... While feeling very sorry for those of you that live in London....

Also while Southampton are decent city just mauled them. Same city we recently beat. If we cannot beat them, and sides like sunderland, Middlesbrough and watford at home we do not deserve to win the league. Simple.

WBA haven't won in 4 games and haven't scored ANY goals in the last 3 games. Whilst I agree it's tricky game, there's a tendency to over think fixtures at this stage of the season.

At the moment I feel our only chance to win is that Spurs start to play poorly. Our game has developed worse and worse. It is unbeliavable that we give the tittle away after having ten points lead.

I don't see any point in Conte kettingein Costa stay on the pitch. We have to change our course at fo this we need radical actions. Costa and Matic should be replaced immediately. Let Loftus-Cheek, Willian, Bats have a chance.

After watching that mess yesterday I am beginning to wonder.  Conte needs to grab Costa by the scruff of the neck (or by his balls) and tell him to get his act together because at the moment he is a liability to our title hopes; at least Conte took full blame himself for yesterdays disaster; it wasn't the scoreline that was disappointing so much as the abject performance against a team that have hardly had a mega season; Conte was simply out classed by Jose's game plan albeit losing Alonso in the warm up and failed to react to it.

Spurs can smell blood in the water and the way they are playing I don't see them dropping any points from here on in.  I hate to say it but they are playing a far better brand of football than us despite some of the opposition seemingly rolling over at every Spurs attack.

We have one more life left......I hope we don't have to use it.
