February 5, 20179 yr Just now, STATS said: Yeah but you said they got turned over which sounded like they were battered. That is how I interpreted it anyway. Turned over means beaten, battered means....battered. Ill also add they don't score many goals, 6th lowest in the league I think? And they haven't beaten any quality since way back in August when Liverpool lost there. Im not taking this for granted though, hence why I said I think they'll be stubborn, they are reasonably stingy at the back, but with our quality we need to be aiming for 3 points and be disappointed with anything less.
February 5, 20179 yr Looking forward to going this game ....Burnley will be no pushover. Saturday Night out in Blackpool followed by a win at Burnley can a weekend get better.
February 5, 20179 yr Burnley at home is a pretty good team, they will tackle us hard and throw those long balls at us all game, completely different challenge from Arsenal. Hendrick missing will be a blow for them, he has scored some crackers this season. This is the kind of game we want Matic, to win those headers and second balls.

February 6, 20179 yr Courtois Zouma Luiz Cahill Dave Kante Fabregas Alonso Pedro Costa Hazard Hendrick one of their better defenders is suspended for this game...The Dingles will play with 2 banks of 4 so it'll be all about creativity in the middle...hence Cesc over Matic...and bringing Zouma into the back 3 will allow Pedro the freedom not to worry about tracking back as Dave will play RWB...just my thoughts...though Moses did play really well against Le Arse... February 6, 20179 yr It wont be a walk in the park, but I think we have enough quality and discipline to get a very good and solid result! Unlike Liverpool and City, our team has good balance and discipline and doesn't concede silly goals anymore - offensively we are a threat so their defenders have to be on their game for the full 90!!! I see a 2-0 win for Chelsea! We have what Liverpool and City and United don't have! We have Ngolo Kante :-). Come on Chelsea
February 6, 20179 yr Imagine this will be a similar game to when we played Middlesbrough. enough pressure should get us a 1-0 win.
February 6, 20179 yr Burnley is the third best team in the league at home with 9 wins, one draw and three defeats. Only us and Spurs have a better home record, won't be easy but overall i feel we have too much quality not to get a result. Also Spurs visit Anfield next week we could easily extend our lead at the top with a win.
February 6, 20179 yr will be interesting to see if fabregas gets a go?? we will have most of the possession. They will be playing long balls and hoping to make use of set pieces. And they are pretty stubborn defensively at home (5th lowest team to concede at home) Would go with courtois azbi luiz Cahill moses Kante fabregas Alonso pedro costa hazard
February 6, 20179 yr I'm more scared of this game than I was for the Pool and Arsenal games, taking 5 points from those 3 games is very acceptable but theres certainly a great chance to take 7. Burnely are going to be missing a few CM's for this game, Hendrick suspended, Defour and Marney injured and Bartonm is facing an FA suspension for gambling. I do think that the same team the vanquished Arsenal should start, Pedro is just a much better footballer than Willian and for these tricky and tight away games, you need his creativity and movement to open up stubborn teams. I'm going to say Chelsea 2- 0 winners, hopefully Costa to start scoring again and push towards 22-25 league goals.
February 7, 20179 yr Ahh this hour of game is so random for me.. Sunday isn't a day off where I live so I'll be at work and probably miss the game. Not going the change the fact I'll be wearing blue on sunday! COME ON CHELSEA!
February 7, 20179 yr Pedro is much flashier than Willian but inconsistent. Willians work in the middle of the park is better but Pedro likes to shoot. Might suit costa this one. Hope so.
February 7, 20179 yr Was it the first game of last season that Costa got booked for supposedly diving when he was taken down by Burnley's 'keeper? Think it was Mike Oliver the ref? Either way Diego has a score to settle and he loves a good old fight with a CB...looking forward to this game...

February 7, 20179 yr Fabregas in for Matic and let Costa be Costa against what'll be a very physical defence. Overall our talent should shine. 2-0 to The Chels
February 7, 20179 yr I think this will be harder than the Arsenal game. Burnley are strong at home and won't make it as easy for us as Arsenal did.

I agree Burnley win run and run after the ball harass and press every player going to be harder than the Arsenal game who to me didn,t seem that enthusiastic to play.
February 7, 20179 yr On 4. helmikuuta 2017 at 18:58, Don Conte said: willian for pedro.. Other than that the UNTOUCHABLES Why, Pedro is playing far better at the moment. He is running and trying much harder, making good runs, giving good assists and shooting dangerously. Willian is lazy and too selfish at the moment IMO.
February 7, 20179 yr I won''t try and second guess Conte's selection - I have complete trust in that man to make the right decisions, as he has done pretty much all season long. This is sure to be a tricky match but I have every faith in the players to continue their excellent form. Please like this post - I'm trying to improve my community rating. G3.7 is advising me.

I know a Burnley fan at work and she's afraid of playing us but I think we're due to drop some points and Burnleys home for is superb. Fingers crossed we win and we're both wrong though.
