Wolves Vs Chelsea (FAC) Sat 18/02 2017 KO 17:30 GMT

Wolves fan in peace. Always had a bit of a soft spot for Chelsea having lived not to far away from the ground, last time i watched Wolves v Chelsea was the 0-5 hammering in 2003 :face_palm:

Good luck tomorrow (not that you'll probably need any luck against us) hope you have a safe Journey up cant say Wolverhampton is the nicest place in the country to visit but at least the train station isnt far from the ground. As for our form its been pretty poor recently having lost 3 in a row and our home form is particularly bad although its been the teams below us that we have really struggled with. Breaking teams down when they are defensive has been a big issue and we're at our best when we play deep and on the counter attack.

Tough to predict a team lineup as Paul Lambert has chopped and changed it around a lot for both league and cup games. The standout player for us this season has been Helder Costa so id expect him to start id also expect to see Edwards who has 9 goals from central midfield. Andi Weimann was rested in the week so he'll probably start as well.

any suggestions for a an away fans pub before the game

Im afraid not i think most near the ground dont allow away fans in, your best bet is the town center maybe the stone house bar

Another Wolves fan in friendship (sort of)

The Bluebrick will be fine - not massive, but decent outside space as long as its not pissing down which it's not forecast to do. Not sure that there will be many other watering holes in the town centre as it's just about a full house tomorrow & most won't allow away support.

You may get in some if not wearing colours though many want to check tickets etc. to see that you are a home supporter. Other option, as assume that you are ALL coming up from London is to stop off in Birmingham & drink there then do the last bit nearer to kickoff time.

Hopefully a close game whichever way it goes as an easy win for either side :laugh2: does not make for a good game. We have our work cut out & whilst we beat Liverpool away, that's not the same level of difficulty really.

We are playing wolves so irrelevant but I think we could beat Barca and even Psg and be a good match with Bayern right now. Haven't seen real much this season so no comment there.

Dont expect The Don to take this match lightly so i dont think we're gonna see to many changes maybe terry or zouma for luis and probarbly cesc for matic...anyways hoping for a good solid performance and hopefully a goal or 2 from costa because i think he needs it for his confidence not good being a world class striker and going without a goal for a while...0-3 to the Chels KTBFFH!!! ::ChELSeAFaN::

Does anyone know where chelsea are meeting up for a drink at wolves?

The old walkabout was normally the "away pub" not sure if it's still open.
