griezmann is a troll. he came out a few days after that utd "hint" interview and said he's happy in madrid and targeting trophies with atletico is his plan.

We are quite quiet on the transfer front while City and United seem to be trying to get things done early although tbf they have no choice.

Yes we are quiet on the transfer front, however in fairness we do have the FA Cup final left to play, so maybe that is the reason for the lack of transfer news. From experience though, whenever Chelsea are quiet, they generally surprise us all with a major signing. Here's hoping.

I never expected Silva to be a Chelsea players anyway so i'm not really bothered about him not joining us. I would have preferred him not to go to City though.

As long as we don't miss out on our own targets then i will be happy.

Great players no doubt. Takes more than that to win the league.  The last two winners haven't been the best on paper.

I think the last 2 winners having no European football at all played a big part in that too. 

Good buisness by city, £60m is reasonable in today's market. He's a good player not sure whether he will improve them though, Is he better than silva, kdb, sane? Potentially, but it will be interesting to see how he adapts. 

City will be a threat next season, if they sort out the goalkeeper and the defence. 

City still need defender's and a goalkeeper. Looks like they are going to spend some stupid amounts of money.

So you missed the report by Bild on Sanchez yesterday then? Bayern are pulling out and are considering other targets because apparently, they can't afford (or don't want) to give Sanchez 300k/week. Bild are the most reliable source on Bayern so you can be almost certain it's true. Which is good for us. I can't imagine Chelsea balking because of a 300k/week demand.

Don't think anyone here knows whom Conte and Emenalo are really after.

Disappointing to see Man City about to finalise the purchase of Bernardo Silva.  I believed he would have been the best candidate to upgrade on Pedro and William with his ability to cut in from the right and shoot with his left foot and would certainly have defenders in two minds as to whom to man mark - Hazard or Silva if they had to choose one.

I can. I doubt anyone in the club is making that kind of money and giving it to Sanchez will mean agents of other star players(Hazard, Costa) will demand the same for their clients.

we have a wage structure that was reported on a few seasons back. There is just no way we will pay an extra 100 grand to a lesser player than Hazard. Won't happen.

if it's money he's after then United, City, PSG or the Italian teams if he wants stay in Europe.

I am very certain that the new deal we are offering Hazard would be containing numbers close to 300kpw. Thats what world class players (messi, Cr, Bale, Suarez, Ibra, neymar etc) are earning these days. If we dont give Hazard something on par, then we WILL lose him.

Neymar is on 150k a week and Suarez is 200k a week as per Forbes in Jan 17. 

There is not a chance in hell we will pay 300k a week to Sanchez. If he's after that number he will move elsewhere. 

Thats just two examples...a year before Sterling we got Costa for 30 million and Cesc for less. It's because they came from English clubs...the market has been over inflated for years unless you have been living under a rock. We payed a near 25 million for Shaun Wright Phillips 10 years ago for goodness sake. The English Market is insane.
