Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is not surprised with Chelsea's success this season - only their style of play.

HAHAHHA.  His jealousy knows no bounds. I am sorry we dont park the bus anymore SPECIAL c**t and actually go for more goals rather than stick to a 1-0 lead. This is the same fellow that parked the bus against 10 man psg and got us knocked out in the champions league.. The same fellow who said we couldnt calm diego costa down bcoz he learnt his soccer on the streets and so had to be allowed to play with an edge.. A.K.A play like a terrorist.

I am sooooo glad he is gone and we have a classy coach..

ANTONIOOOOOOOOOOO

Parking the bus is the same as counter attacking, Chelsea like to get the first goal then usually get more goals on the counter attack. There's no need to be defensive about it when it's true. Chelsea are the best around at it but you also need a solid defence and Kante.

Mourinho was only really defensive against the biggest teams in England and Europe  away from home and 9 times out of 10 it worked so I am sure he has the last laugh looking at his trophy cabinet.

This is a game where whoever gets the first goal could make all the difference. If Utd get it they will have something to defend and Chelsea are a counter attacking team who rely on getting the first goal. Would be interesting if Utd get the first goal to see how Chelsea and Conte react.

Actually parking the bus is not counter attacking.  You can park the bus and just kick long balls like westham did when big sam claimed he out tacticed mourinho. Or you can just play defense and not try to attack like Boro are playing this year. The fact is chelsea is enjoyable to watch unlike when mourinho was coach and also Hazard is free to express himself instead of chasing fullbacks like under mourinho. And when you say he was only defensive against biggest teams in europe you mean Parking the bus against 10 man PSG.

So Arsenal and city are through. And pretty sure Spurs will be.

be interesting this year as big teams are left in the semis.

Those 3 games were never, ever in doubt.

City, arsenal and Spurs are vastly superior to the sides they played/will play. Only game that is a game could go either way is ours. However semis should be interesting. For whoever wins this game.

PSG are a big team in Europe. Is that all you can find is one game? That was probably one of the hardest games to judge ever and it's difficult to influence how the players react in that situation. 1-1 from the first leg and they scored two last min goals both times to equalise, clutching at straws comes to mind. Are you just trying to to find any reason to have a dig at Mourinho because we are playing UTD? I noticed you called him a c***.

Hazard had his best season at Chelsea chasing full backs so in the end he done ok. Yes it's not rocket science that Mourinho doesn't play the best football but who gives a f*** when you win countless amount of trophys. I personally don't find Chelsea enjoyable to watch, it's efficient and very much like a machine. I find it very similar to Mourinhos teams but a different formation.

Your having a dig at Mourinho but lets see if this team is capable of winning a second prem on the trot playing in Europe.

Don't think the loss of Ibra will make much difference. They have enough firepower to cause us problems anyway. I think we all know what Mourinho's tactics will be - PARK THE BUS AND TRY AND NICK ONE ON THE BREAK.. Man Ut have only lost once since we beat them at the Bridge and Mourinho has instilled in the them the art of not losing. This is going to be a tough match whatever way you look at it. We don't want extra time and we also want the chance to go to WEmbley but in reality the most important prize is the Premiership.  That's the title I want, not the FA Cup. Doing the double would be great but the Premiership title is only second to winning the CL so is more important. Can we beat Man Utd? Let's hope so, we will find out Monday night. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

There's no replays in the quarter finals and a 4th sub if it goes to extra time. Bloody hell Batman might come on.

Have they changed the rules? Blimey, that means it could go to extra time and penalties. We better win this in 90 minutes then. Batman might score the winner ................................:)

Lucky you told me, I've just edited my post.

I only found out watching Arsenal last night, I didn't really hear a great deal about it.

No, me neither. The quarters always went to replays if it was all square after first match. The Extra time penalties were always in the semi finals. Thanks for letting me know.

I think that Ibrahimovic missing works out well for manure. Don't think Jose would drop him for our match but if he decides to play a defensive game the pace of Martial and Rashford may be more difficult for us to deal with.

Can see a sending off in this match and hope it's not someone like Luiz who could get caught out in a one v one.

think it will be a tight match with us coming out winning by the odd goal.

Have to admit, I think Ibrahimovic is a massive loss for them. Of course they still have quality but the presence of a leader and a consistent goal scorer has really allowed them to push on and transform themselves from the side they've been over the last few years, as seen in the final a few weeks ago when he dragged them over the line. Mkhitaryan is brilliant though and I'm a big fan of Martial despite being in and out of the side so we mustn't be complacent

Utd will set up defensively, it's not a criticism but makes football sense. Why would you go to Stamford Bridge and do what Arsenal do everytime? You are weaker against Chelsea when your attacking, so let Chelsea attack you and see what they can do against an organised and we'll drilled defence. Your going to stop Costa getting much of the ball so he gets wound up. They will kick Hazard of course, his Chelseas most creative player.

If it was me I would play 3 in midfield against a 2 of I reckon Matic and Kante and pressure them quick as you will get chances specially from Matic. Just how I would see the match from a Utds point of view, I would even drop the 89m flop.

First goal makes all the difference here, if Chelsea get it then I simply can't see Utd breaking Chelsea down and the Chelsea catching them on the counter.

How is PL even comparable to FA cup? Sorry, but simply not on the same level.

The league is wrapped up, we need to be focused on going for the double.

It still is a major trophy. One of the most prestigious cup competitions. We have always taken it seriously and will continue to do so. Our next game is on Saturday. I don't see why you want us to play a much weakened team when we are in the quarter finals. Look at the team Spurs put out against Millwall. Look at the team Arsenal put against Lincoln. Look at the team City put out against Middlesbrough who also have an important UCL game in the week? They all put relatively their best teams out bar maybe 1-2 rotations. The fact those teams put out virtually their best teams against much inferior opposition shows how important a trophy, the FA Cup is.

That would be a disrespect to our fans and the competition to play the type of team you suggested.

It must be killing him what is happening at Chelsea this year along with the praise Antonio is getting and he is using that angle as a ridiculous attempt to put a stop to it.

Tbh the trophy could be the fa cup or league Cup at this stage of the season and all three teams would of of put there best teams out. All 3 managers are desperate for a trophy, Arsenal needed the confidence boost and it's the only trophy I feel any of those clubs can realistically win now. I don't think that means the fa cup is a big competition but more the status of those clubs.

The FA cup lost its prestigue a long time ago. It's a back up competition for the league and champions league now. It's like the league Cup where it's great if you win it but slag it off when you don't.

its quite sad really because there are not exactly a lot of trophies to play for, its as if not being relegated and top 4 are the most important priorities, i am sure it has not always been that way ?
