May 14, 20179 yr I've got one... ... I think we've seen the best that Hazard has got to offer. I just don't think he'll progress staying in this league. The main problem for him now, is that teams know that all you have to do to nullify him is mark him out of the game. We've seen it more and more over the last few games, and will probably see it a lot more next season.

May 14, 20179 yr More MPs should follow the example of my local MP and get involved in their local non-league club, to prevent repeats of Salisbury City, Hereford United, and Reading Town.

You also make it seem like Hazard has been really poor in recent games. Yeah, he wasn't great against West Brom, but that was his only poor game in a long time now.

May 15, 20179 yr Ooops. Edited May 15, 20179 yr by ForeverCarefree Wrong thread, that'll teach me for having multiple tabs open when I'm supposed to be working.
May 15, 20179 yr Here is an unpopular one. PSG was robbed worse this year in their CL loss to Barca than we were robbed in 2009. Here is another one. If another other "big" team is to win the league, I would much rather it be Citeh (that is probably not too controversial a statement).
May 15, 20179 yr I don't like the current format of the Champions League. It bothers me that not many of the teams in it are actually champions, and the decision to guarantee the top four nations four places in the tournament was a disgraceful one, in my opinion

At Stamford Bridge Walter Samuel was collosul, produced one of the best defensive performance's i have ever seen, but the reality is he should have been red carded on the stroke of half time at The San Siro (giving us a pen then 45 mins vs ten men) and therefore been banned for that one. And also at the Bridge with the score 0-0 (1-2 on aggregate) Lucio threw one of our player's to the ground inside the area, had we got that pen and converted it, we would have gone ahead in the tie. Im pretty sure we had another blatant pen ignored aswell. We didn't have the better of general play like Barca 2009 no, but that's neither here nor there, massive decision's that would have hugely turned the tie in our favour were wrongly not given.

As you could quite easily do something like top 2 in the league, the winner of the FA cup and the winner of the EFL cup, get into the CL. And the Europa league places being 3rd in the league and the runners up of the FA cup and EFL cup. Edited May 15, 20179 yr by PedroMendez
May 16, 20179 yr I think more Technology needs to be brought into football to ensure the prevention of major howlers by refs

Pep is an incredibly boring manager and I never understood the obsession with 'tika-taka'. It's like watching paint dry. In my view, he made Bayern worse when he was there. I've said this before, Heynckes Bayern was a far better team to watch than what Pep created.
May 16, 20179 yr I miss Andre Villas-Boas inspirational press conferences. I rate Steven Gerrard on and off the pitch and think he would have been a very good fit for Chelsea. And before the pills wear off...... I just don't get how folks give England players dogs abuse when they play for their clubs then expect them to pull up stumps when they play for their country. The first sentence was a joke. The second sentence doesn't excuse most scousers of being total melts. The third sentence has had me perplexed for years to tell you the truth.
May 17, 20179 yr I hate arsenal more than liverpool. Would prefer pool to be in the CL instead of them. The benefit of this is my brother won't be a grumpy all the time as well.

Just because a player improves after being away, doesn't mean they shouldn't have been sold in the first place.
May 17, 20179 yr I actually liked and admired the Arsenal teams with Pires, Henry, Wiltord, Viera, and Overmars (oh, I really liked him).
May 19, 20179 yr Its very unlikely to be unpopular on here but would be unpopular among fans from around the world. Liverpool fans, and to a lesser extent Dortmund fans, are overrated. If it weren't for their flags, YNWA and Hillsborough no other team would give a sh*t about them and their 'great support'. Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing. P.s. Hillsborough was their own fault. Edited May 19, 20179 yr by RIP Mourinho
May 19, 20179 yr Rafa Benitez did a decent job as our interim manager in the 2012/13 season and did not deserve the personal abuse he got from our fans at home matches ...
