To be fair Spuds aren't doing badly, but this Juve defence is tough to break

Juve are sitting back to hit spuds on the break now....

Just like that,  should have been 3.

Mm but now the counters have dried up! I really wish that Higuan buried that..

Anyone who wants Allegri: this is his modus operandi.

Score a goal or two and defend defend defend.

Mind numbing and daft.

I am not a fan of Allegri, and would prefer a manager who plays attractive football to win.

Back to the match, I can see Spurs winning this if the 2nd half is the similar in terms of possession.

Spuds are playing very well and really coordinated in their possession and movement of the ball tbvh.

Wish we have Dembele in our midfield to partner with Kante.

:good2:.............Hope is still there for Bakayoko !!

I hate him, but Dembele bossed the midfield.  Eriksen was a gamechanger.  This was a game that just shows why the catenaccio style is headed out the door.  Sitting back and parking the bus, especially so early, is a recipe for disaster.  Juventus spent around 70% of the game defending after getting two very lucky goals early on.  Then were lucky not to lose the game when they went full on italian style defensive football.

Remind anybody of any other team?

Juventus looked worse than us, they didn't even try to attack, they could use Costa more, he had a good game and Aurier failed to stop him, they should have played much more on him.

Can't understand what Juventus did, but Spurs deserved to score, hopefully they will win at home and we will have two English teams already.

Spurs putting "pressure" on us is nothing new by now, I'm not too worried. :laugh2:
