I'm happy with the decision as it appeared initially that they wouldn't be allowed. It makes it a more difficult task for us, but what great experience for the lads!

I don't think anyone should really be that bothered if we lose to Derby and Mount scores a hat-trick...it's not a priority competition and would create a memorably weird atmosphere similar to Lampard scoring against us for Citeh.

RB Leipzig is interested in Mount according to Lampard.

Should we loan him out or get him in the squad? As long as we don’t sign any midfielders I can see Mount getting decent minutes next season, abit like RLC. Perhaps I’m overrating him at this moment but I don’t think he’d do a bad job as a squad player.

I thought it was for a permanent transfer, not a loan. Regarding a loan it depends if he’d be used or not. No point rotting at Chelsea when he could be out playing. 

If Frank can get Derby promoted this season mind, I have a suspicion about where he’ll be next season.

if Frank gets Derby promoted this season then theres a possibility they both will be together still, but it may not be at Derby!

Not particularly great at any one thing but his movement is fantastic. Pass and move straight into space. Wouldn't mind him being backup to RLC next year and move Barkley on:

 

Think it might be worth bringing him back especially if Kovacic is going and knowing RLC will miss a fair few matches.

He's reached double figures for goals on both his loan moves now. Progressing nicely.

Like the look of that Derby left back as well ?

RLC is down and may be out for some time. Next season is the time for Mason Mount, not Kovacic, not Barkley. Mason we need you and I hope we put our faith in you.

Was pretty quiet in the final, but his season for Derby was very good. 

With RLC out until January, Kovacic who might sign for us, but still not sure. I think Mount should be given a chance to play for us next season. 

I won't be disappointed to see him loaned to a Premier League club also, but he can show himself with us as well.
