I will defend Mortata, he has had some nice touches and his link up play has been good. He has gone down a fair bit. 

We've played well but as usual, it's our brain farts and stupid errors that lead to us giving away terrible goals. They aren't great so I definitely think we can go on and win, but we need to stop making ridiculous errors because they have quality up front and will punish us. 

Credit to Willian, couldn't get in the side earlier in the season and was the fan's scapegoat for everything that went wrong. However, he's worked hard, never given in when other players would have thrown a strop and now he's reaping the rewards. Well played Willy. 

Morata though, one of the more frustrating players I've seen pull on a Chelsea shirt. Just cannot hold up the ball whatsoever and fell over at least a dozen times in that half. Hopefully we'll see Giroud

Moses is so sh*t in the opposition third, the number of times he finds himself in promising positions is unbelievable.

He's too honest. We was hurt from him trying to play fairly and not make a meal of it. If that was Smalling you can bet he'd be on the floor screaming. 

Why has no one come to tackle Alexis and let him through right in the middle of the box to cover Christensen? I know ref should hawe whistled that but our defendinf on that one is not exceptionnal either ... Apart from that we've done good! Keep focused at the back and we should be fine !

Would have made no difference, the ref was playing on no matter what. I don't want us relying on gamesmanship anyway, it's just a form of cheating. Morata tries it every game and it never works for him.

Really Good first half - we've totally bossed it and should have gone in ahead.

Get Giroud on for the bloke who is doing a very bad impression of a striker and we can take all 3 points no problem.

My Nephew is a great dribbler, don't mean I want him playing RWB for Chelsea FC.

Moses need to figure out his attacking choices ... It's either CROSS CROSS CROSS CROSS or trying to driblle every defender à la Pastore PSG CFC 2014 but to no avail !!!

Bar the early effort that hit the bar he has been hopeless. Shouldn't be collecting his weekly wage on the strength of that.

Referee should have stopped the game when Christensen got the head injury.. if it was the other way round you could bet anything he would have stopped it.

Morata needs to grow a bollocks, other than that we've been terrific.

I agree, when the crowd is going and he is focused and watching the developing attack he has no interest in Christensen whatsoever

i want to see zapppacosta for moses. he has more pace than moses and will attack that left side of their defence more than moses has been. moses has a great game vs barca, then goes back to his averageness again today. frustrating player. 

The main problem is when a player is in better position the other player is not passing to them like Moses should have passed to Hazard and Morata should have passed to hazard.

Hazard needs to take some shots at goal make a yard space and just shoot.

Carragher made a good point about Christensen. Said he said either stayed down or got up. Getting up halfway gave the ref no choice. 

i think lukaku deserves some credit for the build up to their goal, he held off well and helped make that goal. 

Morata needs to step off from the centre back, and take the ball side on. He keeps trying to receive it square, so he gives the defender space to nick it every time.

It's target man 101.  

He badly needs a goal, the 1st was unlucky, but he had a decent chance from that Willian free kick, but he didn't show enough desire to get on the end of it. 

Frustrating to say the least. 

Hopefully see giroud come on, because at the very least, he will hold the ball up. 

 

Really hope Morata is hooked for this second half. Done nothing except hit the cross bar for a simple 1v1.

We were by far the better team but of course we make one error and we concede.  It wasn't even an error really, it was just Christensen got hit in the head and went down which left a massive gap.  Annoyed it was Lukaku who scored.  Of course he would break his top 6 hoodoo against us.

As good as we've been I just know something stupid is going to happen in the second half.  We'll hit the post three times and then the ref will give them a soft penalty in the 89th.  Can also see a red card to us as well.

also, if kante has been booked why hasn't matic been booked?! he has made a couple of fouls now which should have warranted a booking.

That's because against Barca he was just sitting back and keeping position, he didn't need to get in the attacking third.
