We sold Costa because Costa wanted out, stop re-writing history. Costa wanted to go to China last January, he wanted to go back to Atletico Madrid before last season even started. He was going to hand in a transfer request as soon as he returned to training after the summer break. Let's not pretend that Costa wasn't useless when things didn't go his way. Do you remember what he was like when he fell out with Mourinho? half assing his way through games. Then there was last season, what did he do when he didn't get the move to China? he sulked through the rest of the season and played like sh*te. It was down to Hazard and Pedro to keep our attack going because every time Costa got involved, the attacks would break down.
