Bakayoko makes no attempt to put in a tackle. He runs towards the player with the ball then stands off 6 feet from him. He's contributing absolutely nothing.

Here we are again folks. We’ll miss a few glaring chances early second half then concede and draw or lose 2-1.

A controlled first half from us. I like the balance of the 11 on the field. I don't think Bakayoko or Emerson have been anything special so far, but they naturally fit into their positions. Swap Pedro for Hazard and i think this formation could go somewhere.

I think we were the better team in the first half, but I think we looked more to control the ball instead of more attack. We are closing Burnley very well, we have to push more players forward. 

Good to see Emerson, a good player until now. 

We need another goal to get the win here, Barkley or Hazard for Pedro and we will do it. COME ON CHELS!!

Pretty happy with that first half. Morata and Giroud have looked dangerous, I think they've done well together. Baka and Pedro need to do more though imo. 

 

Need a second goal, never confident at 1-0 especially after what happend against West ham, too many leads we've given away this season, let's not drop more points.

Back 3 have looked solid enough, cahill better than usual.

Emerson has kept it simple, hasn't been tested defensively yet though. He's doing okay considering he hasn't played much in the last 12 months.

I don't remember a midfielder player who gets his pocket picked so often, and his 1st touch is abysmal, it makes Lukaku look like prime Zidane!

Need to grab a 2nd.

Pretty much all of this is bang on. It's interesting to see how Giroud and Morata compliment each other.

He does that every time, as if he's afraid to invade someone's personal space.

Again we've looked tidy without being incisive. We need another goal. We need to come out after halftime and put the foot on the throat for 15 mins and get that second goal.  

If we don't you can bet they will score at least once. 

Burnley have been unbelievably poor but I think Dyche will put a rocket up their arse and they'll come at us second-half.

Kante is superb. Bakayoko is an embarrassment. Not his usual calamitous self but a total passenger. It would be nice to see him break sweat once in a while. He's a midfielder, after all, and if he can't offer workrate what else can he offer?

 

Palmieri. Nice name. I like him. I've always liked him. Every glimpse I get I'm impressed. I've got a good feeling about this boy. I think he's very good.
