I love how the media and pundits are hell bent on the 97 points and how the 2 goal line decisions decided the title yet completely overlook the fact City beat Liverpool and should've in all likelihood done the double over them.

Looking back I think that was the main turning point in the title race

If you look down the line, Liverpool have been ridiculously lucky, they were absolutely sh*te for the first 3 months of the season but kept winning games, it was always an offside goal, Salah diving for a penalty, I've not seen luck like it since the Ferguson era, I mean that Spurs own goal in the last minute just about summed it up. City have been by far the better side.

That West Ham offside decision will go down as one of the worst linesman decisions I've seen in football, absolutely disgusting how they got away with that.

That is well harsh, I thought he was unlucky at Newcastle aswell.

Liverpool went through a period where they were playing utter s*** but getting that slice of luck aswell. Their draw against us springs to mind.

Listening to Liverpool fans on the radio today it seems that someone must have told them that you actually win the league if you get 97 points even if another team gets more.

Feeling sorry for them really.....maybe they should start a petition and have it debated in parliament

At first I thought I wouldn't mind Pool winning CL over the Spuds but now I just want the Spuds to humiliate Pool.

Think our London living fans will not agree with you there. As someone who does not live in England anymore I chose to look at this final in a positive way rather than a negative. Sure it would have been nice to cheer on Ajax, however while one "unliked" (to be kind) rival has to win it, for the other it all ends in tears so...lol

I'm looking at it this way. Even if the Spuds win, the media will harp on about Pool's loss. It's almost a win win situation, the Pool supporters will cry for months and the Spuds win will still be deemed irrelevant by the media judging by the recent City title win.

Still annoying though.

Not heard much mention of Tammy in the Sky Sports news feed about the game. Is he even playing?

He just took a free kick that would have looked out of place if he had a Chelsea shirt on (it was f**king dreadful).

The Villa-West Brom games have been superb football matches. They’ve delivered so much over both games, goals, red cards, etc.

I want Villa to come up but wouldn’t be opposed to West Brom if they end up playing Leeds in the final.

Villa is who I want to come up, they feel like they should be a PL club still to me.

Derby for me, Villa second. Anyone but Leeds.

Derby would get embarrassed, I’m definitely anyone but Leeds and a Villa v Derby final I’d be happy from the perspectives of Terry & Lamps but I’d still prefer Villa as I don’t think they’d just come up & make the numbers up.

Lol come on it would be great to have matches against Leeds again. Love beating them.

I am happy because I wanted anyone bar West brom. Their football in the premier league is usually boring and their sacking of Darren Moore alone deserves them staying down.
