West Ham V Chelsea (PL) Sun 23rd Sep 13:30 UK

Not the worst result though we expected better.

Pedro should be back soon and of course we need to cope with Thursday night football for a while.

The Rudiger injury is a concern but of course we KTBFFH.

Wrong pass choices in the attacking 3rd. Many times when we got behind their defence, we shot when we should have passed, and passed when we should have shot. Hazard IMO today had 2 great chances to shoot and didn't

Good last 5 minutes. Some very under par performances. Hazard, Kante, Alonso? we’re all poor and as for Willian, well he must be a good player because the pundits are always saying it but I think he is sh*t and have thought it for years.

Can you tell me what Azpi did better to not be on your list? Blame a Lb for not getting a win or what...

f**k westham and their w**k as soon as we come to town........they have been so so sh*t and bang they are ready for us, and their manager can do one too. f**k me we were crap today.......what were they thinking ffs? They thought this would be easy? Silly pts dropped........and once again f**k westham.

West? Ham defended very well, so massive kudos to th?e?m?.

They did in patches, but we still created a lot of chances that we didn’t take, no idea what Sarri is doing making Kante play as a second striker at times, bizarre.

dull, boring, laboured, probably Thursday had something to do with it....still a draw is better than a loss.  Sarri has to start using some more players from the squad or as someone said we will see more of these games....hopefully Wed we will see some of the youngsters to give the players a rest for next week, Wed could be important psychologically but even so the kids and squad players should get some game time.

Started brightly, faded badly. Bit of a Euro Hangover? West Ham have clearly been doing a lot of work on their defending and caught us offside so easily it was embarrassing. Miss-placed passes all over the shop from us even Hazard looked sloppy and wasteful. But it's a game we probably would have lost to a sucker-punch last season, so crack on Blues!

Very frustrating game. What definitely cost us was the poor judgement of our midfielders and wingers imo. It feels like us not scoring today has more to do with misplaced passes and the wrong pass at the wrong time vs strikers not scoring.

ETA: Moving forward I do hope Sarri rests more players during Europa matches, the team played well in the first 20 mins of the game and it looked like they were never able to reach that standard, which I can assume was from a drop of energy and concentration

Just showing the high regard which I hold Alonso. He wasn’t his usual self down the left and going forward that I have come to expect from him. Very rarely did he get to the line, cut in and played the ball back more 5han usual.

This is where we deserve to be : behind pool and city. Yes, sarriball is good, BUT : we have no striker; defence has issues and the decisionmaking is still poor because the wingers bring fcuk all upfront and willian is a all or nothing type of player à la di maria ... Whereas our rivals have 3 fully functionnal and talented strikers upfront. THe bright side : did not concede and still unbeaten. But I wish we'd resort to a more direct football approach vs pool, i.e à la Deschamps since it will be our only chance to beat them. Because sarriball has yet to be fully functionnal... But even if it is fully efficient, with the quality we have atm, 3rd place is the glass ceilling ...

Now will people prefer we play a 2nd xi for the EL Thursday noose round the neck games ? Its no coincidence our worst performance comes on the back of playing Thursday nights again.

West Ham didn't turn up today because it was us who were playing them, it's not like they played well, we just played a poor game of football. West Ham were there for the taking, we just weren't up for it.

good rant there but think about this way - last season Chelsea lost this fixture - so already Chelsea are better off than last season - btw I felt Kovacic played pretty well today - I didn't want him to start over Barkley but in the beginning of the match there was a nice run from the back Kovacic had made me excited - now on to our last away match to L'pool in the League Cup

CHO proved in pre season he's a better player than Willian, the fact that even Moses is making the bench over him is bizarre. Hazard and Pedro to start all possible games and CHO should deputise whenever either is unavailable.

Credit to West Ham for a well organised performance, they created the biggest chance of the match so we're maybe fortunate to leave with a point.

Thought Giroud played well for the opening 30, then disappeared. And for what Morata's offering us we could've put absolutely anybody up top to the same non-effect.

Needed more byline runs and cut backs, but our wide play continually went back to the edge of the box, West Ham planned for this and swarmed us out every time.

Desperately needed a Pedro between the lines or someone willing to take on a full back. Incredibly frustrating that we kept repeating the same movements to the sam effect.

Highlights the need again for another forward with a finishing touch, because for all of the (at times even today, superb) midfield build up, we don't test the keeper anywhere near enough.

It's still progress, and it's probably a performance giving a fair reflection of where we are at the moment, but for all our quality we are in real need of a cuttig edge to be realistically competing for the league this year.

Sky Sports talking as if we’d lost and the spammers had won. The only winner here was for the anti football brigade, no wonder a Wet Spam season ticket is so cheap as they can’t guarantee there will be any football played. What’s going to happen when this lot play Newcastle, both teams will stay in their own penalty areas!

another point so onwards and upwards, bring on the scrounges next weekend.

At that point, having lost 3 of our last 5 games vs these bar stewards at their sihthole and only won once, that's gotta be a psychological problem ... Nonetheless, with the lack of quality upfront and hazard having a belgium day (i.e, a rather underwhelming performance), we still managed to dominate those mongs and should have gotten away with at least a 1-0 win had we had a decent striker ... Anyway, onwards and upwards ! UTC !

No they didn't imo, they came the closest to scoring, but the best chance fell to Morata again, ball at feet 6yd out just the keeper to beat.
