May 6, 20215 yr The more I think and hear about this rumor the more it makes sense to me. A front line of Havertz, Mount, Werner, Pulisic and Sancho (+Ziyech) is crazy versatile and could play in almost any combination while a true no.9 striker like Haaland would mean less flexibility but more direct goal threat. Of course Kane would be the ultimate singing because he can play upfront as well as a bit deeper but I don't see Chelsea signing him for some reason. Add Sancho and Marquinhos (<3) to this squad and it'd be unbelievable flexible.

May 10, 20215 yr Id sign him, he looks too good a player to miss out on and dont want to see him play for a rival.

Really like him as a player though, and who knows, maybe the plan is to just bring another quality attacker if we cant get a true 9 in. We are not though; if long term Havertz is playing as a ‘9’ and we assume we are going back to a 4-3-3 in the summer, then Sancho certainly has a place.
May 14, 20215 yr Some highlights of the German cup final. Both Sancho and Haaland score. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/57110107

We don’t have anyone who can finish like that, from not a clear chance to a really nice goal.

I believe we have plenty of Sanchos actually, Puli, Mount, Havertz, Ziyech can all create a little bit of magic out of nowhere when in form. I'm not against getting Sancho (if only to make our squad even better), but what we don't have is a Haaland outmuscling and outrunning defenders, hitting the ball with both feet (literally) and scoring anyway. Confidence is truly a mysterious thing. Like always our striker conundrum would be solved instantly if only Alonso had the pace for it, now that'd be fearsome. I'm fairly confident that Timo & Kai will come good with the goals next season, and hopefully our fans in the stadiums will get the best out of them every single game.
May 19, 20215 yr Only seems sensible if a marquee striker doesn’t come in and Chelsea play with Mount in a midfield three. There’s a lot of ifs and buts there but having Werner, Sancho, pulisic and Hudson odoi as the options on the wings looks exciting it’s whether you can keep them all happy
May 22, 20215 yr Should we be looking at him? Clearly got talent and would hope TT can get even more out of him. Chelsea fan to boot.
