Yeah this is crap. We’re attacking very narrow and they’re just saturating the space with players. Whenever we do get it out wide the balls in have been rubbish.

It becomes predictable at times and easy to read. Giroud is the worst for it at the moment. Sometimes he would be better off just holding it and letting others get forward a bit before playing a pass.

couldn't nip off work today for this - first game of the season missed  but it doesn't sound like I'm missing much?  Can't even pick up commentary of the game on Talksport . Our usual slow start by what I am reading and still trying to go down the middle of the box which as usual is packed.  

Moving the ball too slowly and not pressing hard enough when BATE have the ball. RLC and Barkley been average, Jorginho average too. Christensen seems nervous at the back again, and Cahill just isn't on Luiz or Rudiger's level when it comes to his ability on the ball and passing. Giroud is invisible up top and Hazard looks like a player returning from injury. 

Terrible this. 

We are moving the ball at a snails pace.

Very few runs in behind, movement has been poor in general.

No one takes responsibility other than hazard.

 

That wasn't good enough. Too many side passes, no penetration and far too slow. 71% possession means diddly squat with no shots on target or even chances created.

They look jet lagged and they’re making me feel jet lagged, need a much better second half. 

Never thought I would be saying this but it looks like we will be needing Big Willie in the second half.
