If it's between Boehly vs Ricketts, I'd take Boehly everyday of the week. At least Boehly has shown an interest in the club for several years and has a desire of "winning" at all costs based on what I've read about him.

Saudi Media Group obviously have the money, but there'd be too much backlash if the Premier League allowed them to buy the club.

Candy doesn't have the means, but I admire his passion.

Roman Abramovich still has a say in the Chelsea sale process and the Russian wants Chelsea to go to a group or individual with a proven track record, a vision for the club and easy access to funds.

The Athletic is obviously doing guesswork. But it's obvious Ricketts and BWG are one of the correct ones.

Based on what's public, I'd go for Boehly + the True Blues consortium 10% "Golden Share" in Chelsea with shares available for fans to buy.

I think we should get a poll going on this, who are the top five ? Won't include the JT consortium as that should be involved in any of the deals.

I can’t see how the club can go with Ricketts given the comments. Too toxic. 

There is no guarantee the Ricketts family will make the #Chelsea takeover shortlist, with Raine yet to decide. Sources close to the deal said a shortlist of three is being planned.

Why not? Are we supposed to judge a family based on the sins of the father .. I don't doubt that the 80 year old is a bigot but to paint the kids with the same brush just stinks of cancel culture at its finest. 

The club has done some excellent work over the last 5 years or so with regards to anti-semitism, and I can’t remember the last time I heard the “Y word” at a Chelsea game. If we go with the Ricketts family given their historic comments and views on Muslims then that feels like it would be a massive step backwards, and a massive PR own goal.

Sounds like Sir Martins consortium is up there. As for a 5th one we will probably never find out as the shortlist is either 3 or 4.

Joe Ricketts email leak is not too uncommon for people of his generation and the one before it. 

Would not surprise me if you hooked up Mr. Wyss to a truth machine if you found out he has disdain for Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Gays, lqbqt etc.

In our own team we people of different beliefs, all believing their view of the world and religion, or no religion, is right and privately disagreeing, perhaps strongly with the others. They all work together for the benefit of each other and the club.

As @azpi28 pointed out, too much political focus on the club. We are in this situation because our government needed to puff out its chest and abuse their power in the first place.
