Ricketts family flying to uk today for further talks. Think it’s standard, not a sign of any deal being agreed.

Flying Ricketts got me thinking of this.

Can the govt sell us to the most credible and useful one already? It's bad enough that we have to stomach 2 weeks of no football.

You may have to stomach this for another month and a half.

The Ricketts camp are understood to be aware of the #NoToRicketts campaign that has been circulating on Twitter.

The fallout could be damaging to the Ricketts bid to take control of #Chelsea, with only fine margins likely to separate the final shortlisted bidders, who are also likely to include Todd Boehly’s consortium & at least one other group.

It is obvious that Matt Law is working for/ with the Boehlys consortium.

Parc de Princes is something like 48k capacity. Juventus is similar sized stadium to ours. I don't think we necessarily have to increase by too much. Man City aren't even 60k. What would be the ideal capacity? Maybe 50-55?

That probably is enough. I don’t believe that despite all our success that we have a following that would more or less fill 55-60 thou with the same people every week. So that extra 15k would likely open things up enough for a few long serving and loyal fans that aren’t in a position to commit to weekly attendance to get tickets sometimes and to allow a larger number of new fans to get into the habit of regular attendance.

Of course, with the uncertainty of how the club will be run in future, it’s very hard to gauge demand as if we end up a bit Spursy ie dreaming of fourth every year but always failing, then maybe 42k is just enough as current demand would likely fall a bit over time. Or am I underestimating the shut out demand for going to matches? That would explain why it was nearly impossible and  why I gave up even trying a few years back.

The interested parties bidding for #Chelsea had initially expected to receive word on their offers on either Monday or Tuesday. But the complex nature of the bids & sheer volume of information left Raine opting to take more time putting together the shortlist.

48 hours boys and girls

We definately need a stadium of atleast 65k. I go to quite a few games but getting tickets to chelsea is so hard as it is. We could easily fill it. If spurs can fill 60k we would have no problem with our ever growing fanbase. Pointless buildimg a new state of the art stadium to add 10k seats.

Will the whole sale price go to Ukraine fund?

If that's the case I hope the buyer gets us for a reasonable price so that they have some spare billions to actually pump into transfers, stadium improvement etc.

No Raine get a cut, so do the lawyers.

I hope there's a genuine boycott of games if we get a sh*t owner, doing what United and Arsenal fans do moaning about their owners constantly but then deciding to line their pockets anyway is hilariously counter productive.

And to think, this time two months ago the only real worry we had was the fact Lukaku kept starting.
