Joe Ricketts email leak is not too uncommon for people of his generation and the one before it.

Would not surprise me if you hooked up Mr. Wyss to a truth machine if you found out he has disdain for Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Gays, lqbqt etc.

In our own team we people of different beliefs, all believing their view of the world and religion, or no religion, is right and privately disagreeing, perhaps strongly with the others. They all work together for the benefit of each other and the club.

As @azpi28 pointed out, too much political focus on the club. We are in this situation because our government needed to puff out its chest and abuse their power in the first place.

And that’s what it is about, that’s what team sports are about. People who would normally not really interact in the same circles coming together despite their differences in viewpoints. Nowadays it is almost as if everyone has to have the same view but that’s boring. People can politely disagree, and there will always be people who hold questionable views but mostly this is because of ignorance. When you shutdown all communication these people will never be able to change their views either

Why not? Are we supposed to judge a family based on the sins of the father .. I don't doubt that the 80 year old is a bigot but to paint the kids with the same brush just stinks of cancel culture at its finest.

I agree, just because there is one in the family doesn't mean they all are, we are acting like the media have been with us recently, by saying the club and fans should suffer just because Roman was the owner... swings in roundabouts..

I for one, think they are in the running. Personally, i think all of the prospective buyers pitches should be made public so the fans can see what they have to say.... Broughton hasn't disclosed where the money is coming from or who is financing his bid.... None of us know what any of these owners are like apart from what we read in the media and all we can go on is their previous track record if they already own a sports franchise or businesses... As for whether someone paid towards a political campaign in America, isn't that part and parcel of being mega rich over there... obviously whoever is spouting that nonsense isn't a republican.

I think it's good they are making the trip across to speak to the fans, it shows they are serious about owning us and want to reassure the fans of their plans etc.

We do not want these people in charge, they're out to make a buck. I wouldn't be surprised if they're Qultists

The people who bring the money to the table in all the bids, Griffin, Clear Lake, whoever is backing Sir Martin, Candy's South Korean partners etc are all looking to make money out of this, that is what made them rich in the first place. Whoever buys the club will have such people to answer too.

Not really, nobody could be as good as Roman so I couldn’t give a f**k.

That attitude is spoilt and throwing toys out of the pram, I find it very hard to believe that you wouldn’t give a f*ck if the Ricketts took over. Or like coco said, Mike Ashley!

C’mon Munksy you’re better than that. Chelsea are bigger than Roman.

It’s out of our control, we get who we get. He CST etc. can release all the statements they like. If we get Mike Ashley am I going to stop supporting Chelsea? Am I f**k.

Catalina Kim, one of the leaders of Candy's consortium was answering fans questions earlier today.

"Once we are shortlisted" confident.

Yeah I read most of her responses to fans and she seems pretty confident they are amongst the groups that are going to be shortlisted.

Guess we find out tomorrow lunch time. They probably know already. Interesting she is responding to fans rather than Nick.

Or could be delayed another..

Im glad to hear her say she likes Tuchel and doesn't plan to build a new legacy but instead continue the current legacy at Chelsea. The Blues Consortium so far seem the most convincing to me especially since they are pushing forth fan engagement.

There seems positives in most bids and clearly not and outstanding bid otherwise the process would be further along.

new owners should give Tuchel a long term contract, extend Rüdi and azpi if he wants to stay

Indeed most of us want that.

Or maybe BWG will bring in Bruce Arena as our new head coach with Stephen Henchoz as his assistant and get us to spend big on Spurs rejects like NDombole

US bankers such as BWG will rebrand our stadium such as “Goldman Sachs @ Stamford Bridge”.

I really REALLY don’t want Americans running our football club. Chelsea will become more of a brand than a football club. Yes we will get a new stadium, but income the board comments “We need to pay off the stadium”, “we have no money” and we won’t see our academy structures increase, barebone transfers (not that Roman is any better on this recently) and weekly merch drops.

Every chance Roman has done nothing wrong and gets to sue the UK government for a lot of money. That would be great.

Ticket sales are back, a bit.

Sounds like the womens branch of the club are getting special treatment regarding home fixtures.

So, does that mean non season tickets holders can’t buy tickets for games at Stamford Bridge but away fans can?

But we can buy tickets for away games? Did I read that right? Seems like a mess.

So, we can sell tickets but the proceeds go to the prem or the FA?!? Why can't the funds just go into a frozen account until there is a new owner? Why does the club have to be punished further?

That’s how I read it. It does sound a mess. Almost like our fans/club still deserve a bit of punishment.
