May 3, 20224 yr I saw someone suggest that Radcliffe could do some sort of swap with NICE or some sort of back channeling to help Roman get his £1.6b. Seems Abit far fetched but I reckon Radcliffe is somehow involved to help Roman get his money back.
May 3, 20224 yr The fact that it was reported that Radcliffe dealt directly with Chelsea and not Raine would also suggest that
May 3, 20224 yr A quiet news day it seems. Nobody bar those involved know what the hell is happening - so will sit tight and wait. Cant see any scenario where Chelsea go bust or are booted out of the EPL. Quite what the mechanics of the sale will be, we will never know. Frankly I don't want to know. They are all crooks. You don't get to play with billions by being straight and by the book.

May 3, 20224 yr So FC Chelsea, AFC Chelsea, FC Kings Road. TheShedEnd FC. Kinda partial to the last one myself.
May 4, 20224 yr Sounds like brinkmanship between Roman and the UK government. Go Roman https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/12604888/chelsea-sale-in-doubt-as-roman-abramovich-attempts-to-restructure-deal-to-regain-his-1-5billion-loan

The timing of it all just sticks out. If i woke up to see Boehly or Ratcliffe announced, neither would surprise me. Likelihood is Raine picked Boehly, but ratcliffe's bid, on paper, suits Roman better in perhaps more ways than one. And its now essentially down to him

The way both Roman and us as a club have been treated by our government is awful and should be unacceptable. Yet they get away with it. Correct outcome is they apologize to Roman and let us go about operating as before. Cause the actions have done a great job on ending the war.
May 4, 20224 yr The club really is stuck in the middle. Very concerning. Never a dull moment with Chelsea, although have to admit even all this went beyond any imaginative thoughts. No idea where this ends. Maybe this explains the performances even more - a lot more stress behind the scenes that we probably know.

Without Chelsea honestly there would be no point.
May 4, 20224 yr I'm wondering if the late call on the debt was brought in precisely to strengthen the bid by Radcliffe. Who knows what has been discussed behind closed doors? Maybe Roman won't see a penny of that money now, or even in the next few years. Way further down the line however? Anyway, the plot thickens. And we're stuck in the middle of it all. May 4, 20224 yr I wonder if the Tories have factored in the loss of a huge number of seats in Central and South West London, Surrey, Kent, Essex, East & West Sussex and North Hampshire. I am a life long Tory, but if this debacle means Chelsea FC ceases to exist in its current form, I will never vote for them again. What a sh*t show - that still has produced ZERO hard evidence against Roman 😪
May 4, 20224 yr The most likely scenario is that The Boehly group will be saddled with a pending debt with it being unclear whether Abramovich can or can’t one day write that debt off. The Boehly group may have to borrow money to fund club spending with that looming over them. ( @JacobsBen ) Latest on #CFC sale for @CBSSportsGolazo 🔵 Boehly bid may take on debt at book value 🔵 Gov. will block sale if Camberley receive funds 🔵 Broughton bid on standby 🔵 Ratcliffe told existing process will run its course 🔵 Consequences if license expires

Government react to public opinion, banners and chants inside the ground go worldwide. The aim though would be to put pressure on Government not in support of Roman.
May 4, 20224 yr Podcast with Matt Law recorded yesterday. He seems quite calm about the Boehley bid and that it shouldn’t be a problem. Boehley will likely complete by the end of the week. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/london-is-blue-chelsea-fc-soccer-podcast/id914691565?i=1000559538960
