The players that got injured were already players who've had niggling, reoccuring injuries and often times didn't have great rest and recovery protocols to begin with.

C. Ronaldo and Silva heavily invested their money in state of the art recovery equipment and they've managed workloads fine.

We are an absolute shambles and have just been embarrassed on FIFA’s biggest stage.

An incompetent manager, 2 decent signings in Moises Caiceido & Cole Palmer and the rest are ‘developing or sh*t’

Call it a day.

Couldn’t agree more.. what an embarrassment this ownership is.. out there to suck the life of this club.. who the fck bought Felix to shunt him out just like the disaster brothers how did we waste 100’s and millions on average players like Madueke KDH Jackson Ugo fofana gusto Sanchez jorgenson..

They am have taken the entire fan base for a ride.. my lord they bought Kellyman and Washington for 20 each

They are the worst thing to happen to this club ..

Embarrassed in their own country in front of the whole world to see.

Interesting to note that Boehly name dropped Santos as a key player for next season and now it seems that Clearlake are offloading him.

Be interesting to see if Mark Walter buying the LA Lakers for $10 billion has any impact on the dynamic of Team Boehly vs Clearlake, if there is actually a power struggle behind the scenes that is !

We were an elite club. We are miles away from that now, and everything we do now from our transfers, to the appointment of the SD's and the manager, is not what elite clubs do.

We are not even attempting to get back to the club that we were when we were sold.

Ever Chelsea fan I know feels the same, some have given up as long as these f**king septics are around. Yet there are some who actually believe in this crap.

Earlier today I received the following email from the Chelsea Supporters Trust on a recent survey about ticketing etc. There is a link to the survey at the bottom of the message.

"Chelsea supporters have today (23 June) given a clear mandate for the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust (CST) to join the FSA’s “Stop Exploiting Loyalty” campaign.

A week after the FIFA Club World Cup kicked-off, a competition in which the club could pocket up to £97 million, Chelsea FC supporters have indicated that they do not believe their loyalty is understood or appreciated by the club.

Across a recent survey conducted by the CST, almost 90% of respondents instructed the CST to join the campaign which was launched in 2024 and has received worldwide attention.

The message is clear #StopExploitingLoyalty.

The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust will now take action to highlight how supporters are continuously being overlooked and shine a spotlight on how Chelsea FC is exploiting the loyalty of those people who are the lifeblood of the club.

Despite record-breaking profits, Chelsea FC has broken its commitment to “maximise all other revenue streams before increasing costs for supporters,” by introducing a range of new policies that hit the pockets of loyal supporters.

The new booking fee per ticket was widely rejected by supporters, as was the decrease to concession discounts for cup fixtures. The decision to introduce a credit system for tickets sold on the ticket exchange rather than giving the money directly back to the seller’s bank account was also dismissed by supporters.

In addition, the club has introduced an exploitative ‘priority’ membership costing £60 which has no recognition of loyalty. This is a 50% price increase for the “most popular” membership. The sales of the new ‘priority’ memberships will be uncapped and will therefore mean that members will have to pay more for their membership to access tickets which are not guaranteed.

The pockets of members are being hit with an additional initial membership cost, plus raises to the actual price of tickets, plus a new booking fee. For example, a member who attends only 5 games across a season, can expect to pay a minimum of 16% more in 2025/26 than they did in 2024/25. This is a bad deal for members who just want to watch their team play, and many are rightly asking “What is the point of buying a membership?”

In addition, Season Ticket prices have increased by an average of over 17% in the last two years. While the club has committed “that any money raised by Chelsea will be spent on Chelsea,” only 29.25% of respondents to the CST survey thought that the ticket price increases were either acceptable or very acceptable. In addition, only 22% have confidence in the club to effectively reinvest the increased revenue into Chelsea FC.

The CST has consistently warned the club that time after time they are making poor choices that infuriate supporters. This statistic is therefore really alarming and cannot be ignored.

A Chelsea Supporters’ Trust spokesperson, said:

“Piece by piece, Chelsea FC is alienating a large part of our core fan base with decisions that will slowly force supporters to pick and choose which games they attend.

“The exploitation of members is also a worry, and we are deeply concerned that the increasingly bad deal that members have will negatively impact our club for generations to come.

“This should be a huge wake-up call to the owners and the senior leadership team within the club. Supporters are rejecting the decisions made by the club and are evidently unhappy with the current path being taken.

“Not only is it ethically wrong to exploit the loyalty of the lifeblood of our club, but it is strategically short-sighted and obliterates any trust or goodwill that had started to be built by recent positive initiatives.”

What a sh*t show ... question is do BlueCo actually care ?

I think they'd be delighted to have a whole new fanbase, whose allegiance is only to them with no experience or memory of the history of the club, Roman etc, and the times when things were substantially better than they are now ...

They want to alienate actual fans. They'd rather have 40k different fans from across the world every other week on a day trip that will spend money in the megastore, rather than someone with a season ticket who lives for the club.

@Sexyfootball and @Ukraine Bolt you're right, BlueCo doesn't care and they want to alienate actual fans. They want people who will spend loads of money in the club shop, cafes and bars. I rarely eat and drink in the ground as the food and drink is too expensive and isn't that good. As for the shop I'll go there about twice a year and even then won't spend much. Me and the people I go to the games with age from 60 to 73 and we've been following the club for more years and like me the others don't spend much in the ground. As for the shop the others they may spend money on stuff for their grand-children. We've discussed how the club see us and agree that they see us a hinderance i.e. taking seats that could be given over to casual fans.

I don't necessarily have a problem with new fans going to games and children and grand-children of those I go to the games with go to the games and are following in the footsteps of family members and have borrowed our ST when we can't go. Where I do have a problem and as you commented it's the casual fans who have no allegiance to Chelsea but go to games as they can say they've been to a Premier League game.

With the new ticketing system I'll be intrigued to see how many people get tickets through tourist agencies. I suspect that there will be quite a few. So much for the club trying to ensure that true fans can get tickets.

PL writing to TB about his involvement in Vivid Seats. For what it's worth, Vivid Seats had tickets for the Europa League final listed at £20,000+. WTF.

It will be interesting to see how TB responds. If he had any decency he would have given up his stake in Vivid Seats when the club was taken over. He probably hoped that no one would notice and if they did turned a blind eye. A f**king joke that tickets were listed at £20,000 +. Greedy bastards.

I’m done going to watch the men’s team, didn’t get a single ticket through our memberships last season & now they’ve double the price? Yeah get f**ked I reckon.

We even considered not renewing our season tickets for the women with the concession discount going up and 1/4 of home games moved to the bridge but at least the women’s team are fun to watch. We haven’t bought a Stamford Bridge package this year though because I didn’t make 3 of the 4 games - we’ll just buy those as/when we know we can make it.

So I guess now we know why they paid so much for the relatively unknown and inexperienced Essugo and Quenda ... a nice sweetener for the current Sporting hierarchy to smooth negotiations for the takeover deal ...

Probably those deals are negotiated as well as the clubs takeover.

Weird world of football. This thing however is not our invention. We are doing this to have a competitive edge to most of our competition.

Again a sign of wild west and complete disorganization of European football.

Sporting Lisbon in sights.

I hope the likes of UEFA and the Premier league crack down on multi club models. If i was a Sporting fan I would hate the idea of becoming a member of this group and potentially be seen as a "feeder" club for us, Sporting is a massive club and I hope their fans protest if this ever happened.

I wish the likes of UEFA and the Premier league, would get rid of the septic Arseholes ruining Chelsea Football Club.

THE CLUB DO NOT WANT SEASON TICKET HOLDERS, THEY WILL LIKE CLUB MEMBERS ONLY BUT THEN THEY CAN CHARGE WHAT THEY WANT PER GAME, I THINK ALL OF THE BIG TEAMS WANT TO GO THIS WAY, CITY SUPPORTERS ARE BEING FORCED TO ATTEND AT LEAST 10 MATCHES IN PERSON AND THE TICKET HAS TO BE USED 16 TIMES OR THEY LOSE IT, BUT SOME GOOD NEWS

Actually I think it is being done as an attempt to keep up with the competition rather than get an edge. I think Man City and, even more so, the Red Bull franchise are being used as the model to follow.

I confess that I am surprised with Sporting. I was half expecting them to set their sights on Braga now.

None of this seems to bode well on the sporting front

Yes I know City group and Red Bull is doing that but apart from those two and probably some others we will have an edge to the rest.

Once again this is sort of a gimmick to have breathing room on transfers and have a good place to nurture top talent. We wouldn't have this if there was more unity between clubs and a clear system. Now they are just plugging the loopholes in this sh*tty wooden boat of a system.
