Although it's " tricky" we got past all that and got the go ahead for a new stadium.. plenty of clubs have built new stadiums or upgraded their present stadiums . Even in London..

And we know it's possible for Chelsea to achieve permission to do it too by past experience on this subject

But it's not going to happen if they don't even make the effort and moan about how difficult it would be.

I am sure they want to build a stadium that fits their vision and their calculations.

They have replaced pretty much everything so why wouldn't they instill their own idea to the stadium as well. It would be pretty naive to think otherwise. It is their project and their money.

Where have I said anything about them having or not having their "own ideas" ?

And anyway, you don't have a clue whether they have any of their "own ideas": at all ..

I swear, if the owners were to sell Stamford Bridge to property developers and moved us to Kingsmeadow , Evissy would answer criticism by accusing us of being frightened of change, that the owners are trying something new, that we need to let go of the previous ownership, that Stamford Bridge wasn't that good anyway, that the new plan will work, and we need to give it time..

😂

Tools to build the stadium? Not sure that is the case. I don't know the details on permits and all that but is sure looks tricky to move on with the planning. I don't slag off Roman's efforts one bit. Just saying this whole new stadium business for us seems to be a bit of a nightmare.

I also get it Blueco wants to plan everything like they see fit for the stadium. If they put 3bn on a new stadium or something along the lines they bloody well should.

You do know, don't you, that Stamford Bridge has been completely rebuilt over the years ?

And the stadium you see today is actually the stadium in the picture below, the one in which I supported the Blues as a youngster ?

Stop continually saying how difficult and problematic it is for BlueCo. New stadiums and rebuilt stadiums are everywhere.., including in London.. Problems and obstacles have been overcome previously.

Btw, it's my favourite image of Stamford Bridge . Lovely wasn't it ?💗

They sold everyone and started fresh. That was a new idea.

I think Boehly himself is part of businesses that are in line with stadiums/live events outside Chelsea. What he's talked about Chelsea is the stadium is a big part of their vision. If you read what he has being doing with Dodgers for example you get the idea he wants live event to be much more than just the football. Other clubs have done that too.

If he/they had none of that background I think what Roman designed and envisioned could have sufficed.

Lovely old track!

But Roman wanted to rebuild, did he not? Not sure what the contradiction is here. What mistakes did Boehly and co already do?

Yes ! Running track and greyhound racing track !

Yes Roman was going to rebuild complety . .

I'm not saying Boehly has made mistakes over the stadium issue. . In fact, if we can't build at Earl's Court I would rather we did nothing. The cost and disruption of a total rebuild whilst playing elsewhere for several years isn't something I want . The PL is awash with money, more than any other League, it needs to be used more wisely. Larger, new stadiums don't seem to have benefitted most clubs anyway. . What dya reckon for tomorrow? I'm strangely convinced that we will nick it !

Have a good weekend, Come on you BLUES!

We have earned about £280M++ from

CWC final, Top 4 CL money and player sales.

Got Abramovich to thank for being in the CWC..

Nothing to do with the new owners . hopefully we get that £100m that we've valued Jackson at ! I don't believe that story to be honest., unless we are trying to deter potential buyers ? We wouldn't be doing that...would we ?

Didn't post it to thank anyone. Just stating a fact that we have generated money just this post-season

Yeah I know mate,, I wasn't really responding to the content in your comment, should have worded it better or something.. apologies.

Yesterday I went to a meeting at Stamford Bridge about the new digital ticketing system. I was invited as I'm a member of the Chelsea Supporters Trust. Season tickets will be downloaded to the Chelsea apps in due course. If other tickets are purchased for cup games they will be available in the app five days before a game. A lot of people asked about forwarding on tickets if you can't go to a game. You will be able to do that by selecting a game and then someone in your network (the old family and friends) as long as they are a member. The person the ticket has been forwarded to will have to accept it through the app. One of the reasons for moving to digital tickets is that the Premier League has decreed that by the 26/27 season 70% of tickets have to be digital. There will be instructions on line about the new system and staff will be on site before games to help. Hope this makes sense.

Fairplay Clearlake, 3rd season has worked a charm, 2 🏆 massive exposure all over 🌍 🌎 🌏 , POTUS on podium a Jessy Owen moment ! And that 💰 prize money comes in very handy

If they can't find a good shirt sponsor now, then they really are clueless 😆

This perfect for them because a major shirt sponsor just missed out on a massive advertising opportunity. They now have the ammunition to get a massive shirt sponsor.

I thought I would never say this but thank god for AI as we should be able to remove a certain someone quite easily from the trophy lift when it comes out that he's a orange nonce.

Sorry couldn't help myself.

Hopefully Maresca can use this momentum and good feelings going into the start of the season, apart of me hopes they don't sign anyone else now and just ship out what they can. Maybe a new Goalkeeper but can't help but think they will stick with what they have after last night.

I am liking the Levi/Trev partnership, please don't sell Trev.

I bolded the part that spoke to me especially. 😅
