Exactly as I expected, they’re utter gash and we’re fractionally better and thus are wining (thanks to Barkley’s silky skills) but by God are we dreary to watch.

Listening to Joe Cole and Micheal Owen on BT Sport I guess I should give up watching football because I clearly don’t understand it. I think we look sh*t but they think we’re absolutely brilliant.

We always seem to take one/two touches too many, play slows down and people who actually make runs have to stop.
