November 3, 20196 yr And var once again is a joke, how is that not a handball. Its blatantly not a natural position for an arm.
November 3, 20196 yr How is that not a penalty for Everton? VAR have just made things a lot worse actually.
November 3, 20196 yr If this was us v Everton you could bet your house we'd have about three penalties against us already.
November 3, 20196 yr VAR is an absolute joke. It's proven me right, if that was against us, it would have been a penalty.

November 3, 20196 yr The irony. If they did their job that wouldn’t happen...now everyone feeling sorry for Son. Joke.
November 3, 20196 yr Sincerely hope he recovers from that, looked horrible based on the players reactions
November 3, 20196 yr The ref has let the emotion of things get the better of him there, I don't think that was a red card challenge from Son there.
November 3, 20196 yr Just now, Scott Harris said: The ref has let the emotion of things get the better of him there, I don't think that was a red card challenge from Son there. Got to do something so he does not appear completely in spurs pocket.

November 3, 20196 yr Atkinson should be sacked for what I've just seen. He got out his yellow card, just before he was going to brandish it he saw how badly the player was injured. Son was in a lot of distress. I felt sorry for him. Fouls are part and parcel of football. He didn't mean to injure the guy, let alone potentially end his career. Atkinson now knows it's a bad injury, the Everton players are putting pressure on him, the crowd know it's a bad one and they're going to see one of their players stretchered off with a terrible injury, a yellow is going to go down terribly badly, so what does Atkinson do? He gets out a red. Disgrace, in my opinion, and that red is going to harm Son, because it will make him look even more the wrong-doer. Changing cards is indefensible from Atkinson in my opinion. I know it's Spurs but I'm really dismayed by the referee's actions there.

November 3, 20196 yr Was a yellow card, not a red. You card based on the challenge which was a standard late slide in. Poor to change the decision purely on the basis of the injury. As for the injury. They won't show the planted foot challenge that caused the injury but you did catch a glimpse of he aftermath (foot at a 90degree angle to his shin).
