How? The speed of the ball makes that really difficult particularly after Giroud just missed it, all he could do was a get a foot on it and he did, much harder than it looks. 

Really like James. His crosses had been great.

A bit disappointed with MOunt's dead ball delivery.

CP has been threatening. Always find himself where the final ball is. Keep working it and he'll score soon.

Pretty similar pattern. Great for 20 mins, then lack urgency until half time. 

Pedro and Giroud look like 2 players severly lacking in match fitness. 

Jorginho has been a little disappointing again for me.

Agreed. That was a very difficult ball (great reaction from him to put a foot on it), he probably anticipated Giroudl putting a header on it first.

I'm sure he's only misplaced the ball about twice, he put in an excellent ball for Pedro. The only time he really f**ked up was when we were on the counter and he squared it in the centre and misplaced the pass. Besides that he's looked good, I think he's still got a knock also. 

I really hope Lampard will make an early substitution, we need someone to bring something new and fresh to our game.

Pedro adds nothing to our game, Giroud isn't at his best as well.

We need more long shots, more dribbling through West Ham's final area, Willian or CHO could be the key for this.

We have to win this, West Ham aren't good enough and we're level above, let's just not focus and make some stupid mistake.

He hasn't done a lot wrong I agree tbf - I just think top players make a difference - Pulisic hasn't cut it for me

Pulisic was by far the most threatening player in that half, West Ham keep looking to foul him the moment he gets on the ball

Still not sure how Snodgrass has not been booked yet. 

That was a frustrating first half. We are struggling in attacking areas today, it's like there isn't enough support when we get into their half, it often felt like a 1v3 situation in attack. 

We should have scored from at least one chance though. The cross for Giroud at the end should have been put into the net.

You're a very demanding lad. He scored 6 goals in 7 games. Has a combined 12 goals/assists as a winger/midfidler, only 2nd to Tammy.

Strange call imo, he's been our best attacker of that half, he's not the one who needs criticising atm.

I agree. There wasn't much more Pulisic could have done but get a touch on it and hope for the best. The chance was for Giroud, he should have got on the end of the cross for a simple tap in.

Batman with Pulisic and James would have scored already...Hope to see CHO as well but Pedro compared to Giroud is at least trying.

The full back 4 and Kovacic have been good also I think, Jorginho a bit sloppy but he usually grows into the game, it's just the attack that's pretty poor atm. Pedro and Giroud are the two culprits, particularly Giroud, he can barely even get on the end of a cross he's that slow.

I thought Ogbonna deflected the cross and that's why Giroud couldn't connect with it. Agree about Pulisic doing his best with a  very difficult chance.

Hard to see what Giroud has left to offer us on this performance. Pedro's had a couple of half chances but has faded badly, he gets frustrated too quickly and then tries taking on 3 or 4 opposition players at once. As soon as he starts doing that you might as well hook him.

Yes but we look much better. If Pulisic dives with a header or just keeps his foot down that's a goal right before the end of the first half. If we continue like this it's only a matter of time when someone scores.

I know that would be a 50-50 pre VAR, been given before, I know it's 100% in the CL, I know it's 100% for LiVARpool but in usual PL games I still have no clue
