I would have thought that, however the fact they are getting the trophy after the game with us makes me think they will try to up their game again to get the prize with a convincing win. 

Yeah I don't see us getting anything at Anfield. They will have a full week rest and can easily exploit our defence from set pieces. Hopefully we win against Wolves.

The Scousers should damn well help us in the battle to keep UTD out of the CL!

Disappointing day. Blades are a lot better than the inept performance they gave at Leicester.

That coupled with Palaces inevitable defeat today makes for an unfortunate day of results.

Predictably United get a big helping hand from the ref again. That should have been a penalty to Palace but instead they play on and United score. United and Leicester have far superior GD to us. So in the scenario where they both win next week we must get at least a point at Anfield or top 4 is probably over. You know they will play out a cosy draw in last game if that is all they need.

Really need 1 of Leicester and Utd to drop points in the next game, otherwise it'll be tough for us to stay top 4

This, or we need to get points at Liverpool. If we get 1 from Liverpool and they both win we would be down 1 point to both, and then a win vs Wolves would guarantee us a top 4 spot because we would end up at 67 points and they can’t both get to 67... that’s a rough road for us though, points against Liverpool will be tough, and beating Wolves is far from a guarantee.

As much as we hope that Liverpool will still be on the booze, it will be difficult to get 3 points at Anfield. 

It’s hard to predictable anything with any of teams in this crazy mini league.

Hopefully. And maybe Moyes will pay us back for gifting them 3 points too.

You have to think that us and Leicester will be the ones to fight it out. 

 The only problem i have being in the Europa League is playing on Thursdays. I don't see why they can't move the games back to the traditional Tuesday and Wednesday.

Only time I might ever support Spurs could be this match against Leicester. 

That said, Liverpool have won already and we are fighting for our lives. We need to win this game end of and if we play smart we can. That means not f**king around playing out from the back and going long to Giroud in build up to negate their press. Our best game of the year was against Liverpool in the Super Cup. If we play like that we can win. Then we don't have to worry about anyone else. 

So Fernandes’ penalty wasn’t overturned when United were struggling to break down Villa and today Zahas penalty not given to give Palace a 1-0 lead turning it into a tough game.  The results seem to be going our way at the moment but the fa sure as hell what Utd to get a Champions League place.

What’s most important is that Leicester or Man U loses next week. If either of them drop their next game we will have a +1 advantage on them going into the final match, at that point you beat Wolves and you are guaranteed in. Obviously we would love to get points at Anfield, and if you get 3 that ends it if Man U or Leicester lose, however I think we would all consider us lucky to even get 1.

its also still not out of the realm of possibilities that Leicester drops their next two and we already have enough points, however I don’t think anyone feels comfortable with that idea.

We are defensively inept. The dippers could embarrass us and Wolves are no mugs. At best I can only see us picking up another point. Thursday night cup here we come. 

It is in our hands. No game is called before the ball is kicked. We have played some of our best football against Liverpool this season. We can absolutely beat them. They have nothing to play for. 

Wolves we already beat 5-2 this season and their CL dream is also over. 

I rather have these two than Manu and Sheffield again. 

All in our hands. Perfect situation for the team to grow and to push themselves. If we fail to reach the CL it is sad but not the end of the world.

I see this going to the wire, disappointed with last night though West Ham often pull the rabbit out of the hat against us.

I think Spurs will either beat Leicester or draw meaning Leicester might need a result at OT. Of course we need to win against one of ours too most likely Wolves as 'Pool is too close to the FA semis.
