Thanks for that. I've watched a fair amount of Brentford and Benrahma but knew very little about his history.

As for a potential transfer, I'm a little torn. If we do sign Benrahma, I'd obviously love him to be a success. But on the other hand, if - as seems increasingly likely, Brentford make it to the Premiership, they really are going to need to keep hold of the BMW if they're going to have any chance of staying in the Premier League.

Yeah, I'm also torn! As an Algerian, would love to see him at a big club like Chelsea, but I also like Brentford's ethos and I'd like to see them do well in the PL. Plus, he'd probably be guaranteed more playing time if he stays. 

Either way, we'll be happy so long as Brentford doesn't miss out on promotion.

If Willian leaves, I would like us to sign him.

Also knowing our luck with injuries we could definitely use some extra wingers when all we have currently are Pulisic, Ziyech and CHO as the only natural ones. Werner is definitely better as a CF and Havertz is better in the middle

He will definitely not be allowed to leave before Brentford's possible promotion is decided.  If they come up to the Prem - he stays. If they do not, then he will be looking to leave.

I actually think he’ll be moving on whether they get promoted or not. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll sign him. Pulisic, Ziyech, CHO & Benrahma as our four wing options certainly would be exciting!

Not sure whether I want Brentford promoted. If they stay in the championship there's a high chance that he might leave them, but if they get promoted then the chances of him leaving are definitely lowered

Agreed, I'm well and truly unimpressed. His quality really drops off against Championship opposition that play at the top end of the table. Sky commented about his poor defensive workrate and how easily Fulham are passing through him. His final ball today has been poor too. Talented but so many flaws. If results don't go our way next season he won't be popular if he underperforms.

Maybe we should re-sign Michael Hector at centre back LOL ... he seems to be keeping the feted Brentford front line very quiet tonight !

Well that is debatable. When they played Fulham at Craven Cottage, Brentford won 2-0. He made the difference with a goal and assist. He has had many top performances against the better teams in the league. He scored against the likes of Leeds, Swansea, Derby. So far this evening he has been below par but I disagree that he drops off against Championship opposition because like I say he has had games against the better teams in the league and been the standout player.

I wouldn't say one successful take on qualifies him as their best player but fair enough. He's lost possession a few times in the second half, I just worry what that means for our defence next season.

For me not their best player but to give him his due Brentford look more solid since he moved to the left flank. Hopefully if we sign him that's where he plays because he's been a liability in the centre.

Missed the first half, but does he normally play Centrally for Brentford or on the left? 

He has impressed for Brentford this season but in the Championship. If Brentford get promoted it will be interesting to see how the likes of him and Watkins fare in the top flight. It would be a risk to invest big money in him at this stage I think. Especially when we have other positions that need addressing more urgently.

 I’ve seen him their last few games and he hasn’t stood out whatsoever.

From what I've seen of him recently he plays on the left but has a tendency to drift into the centre to allow the fullbacks to overlap and provide the width. He's a good player don't get me wrong just not top four material for me - there's just too many flaws in his game.

Thought he was poor tonight. Based on the hype expected a bit more.

If anyone looked interesting then it was Cairney.

For me not an upgrade - decent backup for Pulisic maybe but it's a stretch. I won't be disappointed if we sign him I'd just have Grealish over him any day of the week. Proven quality in the Premier League is hard to come by.

Good replacement when Willian leaves, can easily replace his output.
