Timo Werner

Featured Replies

Dortmund linked again today. I want to ask a couple of things.

Two questions regarding Timo this summer, now I know most people on here would rather see him gone and I'm currently on the fence with that being said.

1. Do we think TT has him in his plans for next season or rather do you think he will green light a sale?

2. If he is to be sold, what would be a reasonable fee? I don't mean let's under or over value him.

Personally I think anything above €40/£37m would be reasonable. Ideally we would want more but thinking realistically I think we would struggle to get market value or what we paid

1. I think TT will allow the sale IF we do get a new winger. Don't think he leaves if no one else comes considering CHO and Pulisic injury woes.

2. Like you said, I guess we'd settle for anything around £35m. Considering his wages and how his reputation took a hit, can't see many teams creating a bidding war for him. Adeyemi just went to Dortmund for £32m, so I'd say that's reasonable.

We really should be looking to build our team around Timo....the hardest working attacker in the world.....

....who am I kidding, no, we probably shouldnt. Lets sell to whoever will pay his wages.

I am not sure why timo is still here with us.

If he goes back to Germany or move to a more direct team, he can recover his old form and back being star.

I'm going to guess that his wage has a lot to do with it.

I wonder if the incoming Sterling and Raphina means "thank you very much and goodbye" for Timid Timo?

Can't see him being anything other than bench-warmer if he stays.

Just my opinion but reading between the lines I think Raphinha turns us down and wars for Barca.

Barcelona would first need to sell 150m worth of players to register Kessie and Christensen. They would then need to sell more players to sign Lewandowski. They would then need to get Dembele off the wage bill to bring in Raphinha.

So yeah.

See how much patience Raph has then.

Have to hope we are inquiring about Gnabry. Gnabry and Bayern say yes I would absolutely love it if we bring in Gnabry and rip apart Raphinha's contract and tell him to f**k off to Arsenal.

Barca have been in talks again with Leeds last night looking to agree a deal to match our offer. Sounds like they are getting closer.

If Sterling comes in, he's out. I like Werner a lot but he has a lot to work on if we ever want to be PL champions again

A helluva lot to work on Deino.
