Who am I? I'm an adult. For someone who has been on this forum for such a long time I'm surprised you don't know an appropriate way to act. If you don't like driller's posts, then report them through the proper method, or take it to PMs so it doesn't clog up the thread subject. Pretty basic forum etiquette.

I'm all for it if it's what Frank decides is best for the team, and I quite like his versatility. I am massively put off by the price and I don't personally feel like he offers us anything new than what we already have. Saying that, I like the idea of having a young, English spine in the side and he obviously seems eager to make the move.

There are 3-4 forum 'legends' that never share opinion, have a take or rate players/teams, they only respond in a sarcastic, disrespectful way and think they are cool. Usually these beer guts get what they deserve once every four years but because of Covid we missed that in 2020 and now they insult directly without any shame. On top of that people that actually do share their opinion are being attacked and insulted and if you only dare to response you will be warned. There must  be a stats or history or something of all the quotes of my posts, look how many insults and nothing.

Just don't answer to them.

I have noticed that there seems to be a little clique involving some of the long standing forum members. Some are absolutely fine and I really enjoy reading their posts. Some are, shall we say, not so worthwhile 😉

I wouldn't have thought we would see Rice arrive without some significant departures first. Whether we purchase him or not, West Ham are demanding a pretty hefty fee. I'm sure Marina will perform her usual magic and knock a few bob off, but Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Jorginho and Barkley must surely all be on the list to dispose of?

I don't see the hype around Rice. What is so great about his so-called "leadership" skills?

Spot on. The irony is the worst one for its name is DICKY aka dkw haha! I was a lurker for about 2 years on here because I could see that exact situation playing out. Some of the regular posters are amazing but they tend to side with idiots like dkw even when he’s being a complete ball bag with a new poster for no reason like it’s impressive. Guess that’s what forum ££ contributions buys you.

I’ve read untold amounts of comments of her saying Cudicini was sexy, hazard etc to the point it was actually a bit sad and then she had a strop when someone said Marina Granovskia was hot and accused them of sexism and degrading woman by sexualising her hahaha! Bit of jealousy I think.

I think this is a tad harsh. I haven't had any interaction with Valerie as far as I know, but from reading her posts they always seem to be jovial and friendly. Part of the clique no doubt, but that's merely a by product of having been an 'old school' member.

The rest of your post however is spot on.

I think we can all agree that Marina and Cudicini are both mega attractive.

 

@Mod Stark Expect some donations coming in from 2 members who apparently dislike a thing called a "clique" (I gather it consists of forum members who have committed the crime of sticking around), but despite this can't tear themselves away from the forum. I'm sure they will gladly part with a few pounds to keep the forum running and thus give them the opportunity to diss the old guard!

No-one has an issue with the clique, nor does anyone have an issue with people making friends and acquaintances. I can help explain my post if you're struggling to understand.

There are people having an issue with "the clique", although perhaps not you, and I struggle to understand this notion of a clique. Some of us were members of this forum previous incarnations, it doesn't mean we are sworn buddies agreeing on everything, and sticking up for each other no matter what. Some of us have met, that probably makes a person more friendly and tolerant, I'll give you that.

But we - recent and not so recent yet loyal members - look forward to your donation. Seriously, the forum needs it. We need continuation of our '48 hours fix' for what's left of this transfer window.

Not that it applies to Rice, my bold prediction is he's not coming to Chelsea in 2020
