The friendship between him and Mount will help with the chemistry on the pitch and you can't overstate how important it is having people at the club that are actual fans and care for the club. Will give everything in a Chelsea shirt.

Yeah I couldn't help but smile when they finally played together for England.  

Few of the journalists who report on Chelsea are saying that once the Mendy signing is completed we're going to have a crack at Rice. 

Just how hard we push for him is anyone's guess. David Moyes, predictably, saying in his press conference that he values Rice highly and wouldn't want to lose him.

I think we should wait, sign Ndidi or Rice in a year or two when Kante and Jorginho are older.

Ndidi is a good player but he would also cost a fortune, it really depends how much Rice costs really. What helps is, is that Rice is a Chelsea supporter who has made it no secret that he wants to be here, West Ham will acknowledge that and know that they don't want to keep unhappy player if they were to ever block a transfer offer from us. 

Still, I wouldn't want to be paying ridiculous money for Rice, and I'm talking over 50 million here, it can't go any further than that or West Ham are having our eyes out. 

But to be honest, we aren't signing Rice this transfer window, I think once we get a keeper that will be it from us. We aren't in desperate need for him.

Not much of a difference between Ndidi and Rice in that graph though.

And Rice is younger, English, Chelsea-fan from our academy, more of a leader and better with the ball in my view.

Another impressive overview. Although it might have changed later up the season, as this was halfway the season.
But again I am a fan of him, maybe I am being too subjective.

Irrespective of what the stats relate to, I found it extremely pleasing to see Jordan Henderson in the relegation zone.

Not that I rate southgate, but we won the league with someone playing the same position as Kyle walker who is the same height. Azpi in a back 3. 

not unless its 50m max  i wouldn't pay any higher then that.

Walker is at least azpis height he isn’t 5’8 not sure where you got that from?

They are the same height at 5'10. Azpi is a proper defender instead of today's modern fullbacks which are attack biased so it's no surprise they can't do that job.

I'm not disagreeing with that bit, I'm saying Azpi is a rare exception because he's a quality defender. Kyle Walker is not a good defender, his main quality has always been his pace.

when you are implying walkers height is the reason he can't play in defence, then yes. 

Southgate is a bad manager because he played walker at cb is different to southgate is a bad manager because he played a 5 foot 8 walker at cb.

Football is changing. The proper defender definition nowadays starts with presence in the opponents half, deep runs, assists and crosses. Azpi only got the good crosses and it takes too much time to settle and execute it. 

So Azpilicueta was proper defender 10 years ago. Now Walker is more valuable.

I like him more proper DM, Rice is good but I feel he's getting that typical English hype.

Rice is a good DM but his vocal leadership style is what Frank wants. You might say anything about Henderson but that is pretty much his role at Liverpool. 

Rather see how Ampadu develops.

Henderson is puts a shift in every single game like him or not. I don't see that in Rice nor was that mention as his strengths.

Usually captain types do. Haven't seen Rice play that much though. Everything that is said about him makes me think he works his ass off every game. 

Henderson gels that side. For me he isn't the most talented footballer nor anything special, he just demands everyone to do better and go full out all the time.
