September 9, 20232 yr Really is a needless argument. Whether or not we are playing a back 5 or a 4231, the personnel is the reason why its so lopsided/defensive oriented.

Call it a back 5 or a 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 I don't care, I posted pics that clearly show Disasi, T.Silva and Colwill being those 3 CBs. Google says so too: FbRef also: The fact that the players rotate during the match when we don't have possession or during certain situations well, that alone doesn't change this fact. Chilwell playing as a winger or full-back makes little to no difference in what I'm saying, he's just pushing forward just like Gusto. Colwill, Silva, Disasi prior to the N.Forest goal, in front of them, Caicedo. Where do you see here a 4-3-3 when it's clear that Disasi isn't a RB nor Colwill a LB. Otherwise if any of them were playing that, it would leave T.Silva as the lone CB which simply isn't the case. I really do get bored explaining why you're wrong so often and the information not sinking in.
September 12, 20232 yr how awful does he look at LW? cant even blame his injuries as hes been fit for a long time now

But how we have played since the start of the season is totally different, positionally, strategy and player picks. I know preseason is often a fitness thing for games, get match sharp but as a new man in you would expect him to use the time to instill his "footballing philosophy" (I hate that term). It just makes no sense. The only thing I can think is he had the whole gameplan revolving around Nkunku, he loses him and reverts back to what the players know from the last 2 seasons, mainly. I feel like a school girl thats been completely hoodwinked. Blimey, can't believe I fell for the preseason hype when we were actually playing really fluid nice football in a 4231 and we didnt even have some of our key signings yet. Also seems hard to believe that we were planning on relying on Nkunku THAT much to the point where he is injured at the system has completely changed from formation to personnel. Just have to hope some of our injuries come back like Badiashille who can hopefully see us go back to a back 4 with a Colwill-Badi partnership and Maatsen at LB

September 28, 20232 yr It's so frustrating. We have arguably the best right and left backs in the league, and I'd still possibly sell them in the summer if we get offers. It's heartbreaking to realize they will never be dependable with their fitness issues.
September 28, 20232 yr Has there been any confirmation of the nature of the injury yet? I know it was suspected hamstring but could be anything from strained to torn.

September 28, 20232 yr I'm all for having an inflated squad until that voodoo doll is found at Cobham.

September 29, 20232 yr At least 4 weeks for Chilly. I would just absolutely change anyone who is responsible of our medical matters. Just change the personnel. Unlucky or not this f**king disaster needs to stop.
September 29, 20232 yr What was Chilwells injury record like at Leciester? Because it's pretty sh*t here.

September 29, 20232 yr Death taxes and Chelsea players getting injured!! How many games have Chilly and James start together? And how many games have we played during their time as first team players? I bet that stat is shocking. Again this is why we have 3LB, we probably need another RB too. September 29, 20232 yr With the international break he may be back from Arsenal. Mind you Pochettino has preferred Colwill at LB so would he even start?
