It's not as if this is his first game back from injury, he's played a few games since his return and has not been impressive.  He's not taking on defenders pre-injury and whether the injury has a mental effect I'm not sure but as you say, he needs to up his game, certainly from here on in IMO.  Maybe he needs to go on loan?

Either we did much better 1st half with Clarke-Salter and Christensen in defense, or Brighton have stepped up after the break. Or a mix.

this second half has been painful to watch. awful quality, scrappy, and very stop start with all the subs.
