Pretty rusty this football.

Brighton have intercepted quite a few of our crosses now.

The midfield is looking a bit rusty for me. The front three are very lively and in the defence Clarke-Salter is looking better than Christensen. Alonso is playing well. 

We are a bit static and lacking penetration and speed.  Well, pretty much like last season then

Alonso & Reuben are way below the standard right now

Havertz making wonderfully timed runs into the box will alleviate some of that ... no wonder Frank is so keen on signing him. If I was RLC or Kovacic I'd be a bit worried about my chances of a starting place in 20/21 ...

Alonso? I think he’s been good defensively. He’s won a few headers and they haven’t got past him. 

RLC and Alonso are just not good enough.

Really don't get the hype over CHO, he been generally poor the last few games from what I've seen and again today.  Again as with last season, seeing a lot of useless possession going backwards and sideways and nothing with any substance in the final 3rd.  

RLC looks lumbering. Alonso doesn't even attempt to shoot or pick out a good cross.

Ziyech's passes have been unreal. Timo is dropping a bit too deep for me. Can't deny workrate tho.

Overall a bit slow and lacking penetration or maybe because it's preseason

What was wrong with Alonso? thought he linked up well like James.
RLC lacks confidence has to show more intent but you can see the quality and good positioning.

Havertz is desperatly needed, RLC doing almost everything wrong in our attack. I'm also a bit worried about Ziyech drifting all over the place at times, leaving Reece James exposed on counterattacks.

Ziyech looking rusty but he hasnt played for 6 mknths so to be expected.

Werner looking the sharper of the 2, pops up all over the place. 

 

When Kante playa like that .. we look a lot better.. Kante and Kovacic are playing good together.

Reece has a shaky start doing much better and looking solid.. 

werner is looking really good .. a few intelligent plays from Werner.. 

RLC and CHO both looking off pace.. Ziyech has played some great balls .. very very different player to Willian and Pedro.. 

AC and Kepa look fragile...
